Beat ohio state, get blown out by iowa. Beat wisconsin, getting worked over by Nebraska. I sense a theme developing. That being said, there's still plenty of game to play, let's go Gophers!

This honestly reminds me of some of the games we played last year. Just getting blown out of the arena.
 

Why? Seriously, why? This town DESERVES a legitimate mens basketball team. And we have this. Without Smith's unconscious effort, we are down 30. I seriously cannot understand the negative energy that surrounds this program. Its bizarre. No other words. Now. Minny might come back and win this (doubtful) but this is unreal. A case study should be done on this city and its athletic programs/teams because I cannot think of a city with more bad luck when it comes to major athletics. SMH. SMH.
 


You'd think they would of learned at Penn State that you can't look past anyone in this conference....guess not. Plenty of time but these guys gotta buckle down and play smart. They've come back before so they can do it again but it's going to be tough.
 

Nebraska looks like the ranked team, not Wisconsin.
 

We're making Nebraska look like the best team in the conference right now. Still have time. Get a stop and chip away.

Frickin relax. We were due for a letdown. We're playing a team that is a missed point blank tip-in away from being undefeated at home.
 

Nebraska is the more talented team all around, especially with our best player out. This highlights just what kind of job Pitino has done this year making a radio out of a coconut, just like he did last year.

?? McNeil has been solid for us this year. Not saying he's played exceptionally well or anything, but he brings gritty defense, rebounding, and can score around the basket!

Plus I don't think anyone would've been angry at 4-4 after that brutal schedule. Long season, and there is still plenty of time to comeback.

Games like this happen. It's about how they fight through, and than how they rebound the following game.

EE is great at defending the post. His assignment for tonight requires him to step out and defend the perimeter. He shouldn't be expected to, but he's not capable of doing that. Therefore it's just not a good night to play him a ton. I'd rather have one of the PFs play the center spot in the second half.

EE isn't great at anything. With the foul trouble, et al the real EE has been exposed for what he is; a barely serviceable B1G 5.

I disagree. It is one thing to be due for a loss where maybe your threes aren't falling or whatever. No team should ever be due for their players to just not show up.
 

Sure our defense hasn't been great, but what can you do when they simply don't miss?!
 

Austin you really don't have to be the Gophers version of Wes Johnson. Come on man!

Still not over if we show up. Those 6 points the missed three front ends in the first half cost us are the difference between this and a tie.

You can't do $hit about that. Ha, Petteway looks like he could be a top 10 NBA draft pick from tonight's sample size. How did he end up in Lincoln of all places?
