News flash: every team in the country has games where they don't "show up". It just happens. I like that they are battling and aren't giving up. Plus, Nebraska is making everything they are throwing at the basket right now.
 

Team showing some fight at least. Happy with that.

Can someone please tell me why Nebraska can only shoot against the Gophers? Fade-away guarded 3s. Deep 3s at the buzzer. Transition 3s. Corner defended 3s. All in. Yet they suck. Again, why against the Gophers? Do we deserve this?
 




next team to score a bucket will be huge factor in deciding this game

That fade away three was just silly. These threes are crushing us. The three at the end of the first half hurt a lot too.
 





Nebraska just wants the game a whole lot more than our guys do. It's been obvious from the start. As such, these guys are getting exactly what they deserve (an ugly loss just a few minutes away from becoming official).

It is not only vs the Gophers, cncmin. How do you suppose the Huskers beat Ohio State???
 



The team has not quit but why are you playing a zone with 3 minutes to play when you are behind by 8?
 

Little Dre is 2 points and 1 turnover away from a double-double. That and the (now) 4 missed front ends are killing us.
 

All of a sudden we can't shoot free throws either, $hit.
 

Dumb turnovers and missed free throws have cost us this game. Shame after coming off a good win but hopefully they can learn from this.
 

10-19 on Free Throws? They absolutely deserve to lose this game. 7th grade travel teams are expected to do better than that from the line!

While they did defeat Ohio State, it surely wasn't because they were dropping three's from all over the place (I watched the game). But, your point is well taken. Nebraska has been vastly better all game in all areas. Hence, they win. Pretty simple really.
 

Disgusting display from the line. One thing is clear; judging by the pit ring, Miles clearly out worked Pitino.

I saw the same thing. He needs to either (1) wear an undershirt or (2) pick a different colored shirt. If I am one of his assistants, I fear drowning in those things.
