FLECK HAS ACCEPTED THE GOPHERS JOB!! UPDATED: WE GOT FLECK!!!!

Latest I am told, is Fleck has accepted the job as I posted earlier. Its not signed on the dotted line as in stone. Fleck wants certain parameters guaranteed. If they don't meet him he will walk, if they do, he will sign, which is likely.

He wants a parking space at the stadium. He talked to Jerry.

Well, in my years in business including bargaining with the Teamsters, that's called negotiating, not an accepted offer. Wow.

I thought it was a joke. Wikipedia says it's so, therefore...IT'S SO!

Fleck sighting on Washington and N 3rd Ave.
Maybe he stopped for some chops and lapdances?
:p

Is there any chance that PJ Fleck will consider keeping our defensive coaches?

So now the question would appear to be how far apart the two sides are. GopherFanatic19's source says they're pretty damn close, Jamal Spencer's source(s) say they're pretty far apart.

If Fleck doesn't say yes, do we go get Football Richard Pitino?

That almost never happens.

Also the defensive players were the guys who got in trouble mostly..... why would PJ want to risk anything like more of that mess?

The group is pretty loyal, so I doubt any of them would stay anyways except for Sherels who more needs to stay out of necessity to keep benefits.

So it's looking like this is going to drag on into tomorrow? DAMN YOU PEOPLE I HAVE WORK TO DO.

If it is Fleck, here's a question:

When is the last time a P5 conference football & men's basketball teams had head coaches both in their 30's?

I only see Potential of Bart Miller, Johnson, O'Brien, Sherels, Weber staying.

The longer this goes, the less it will happen. At some point Coyle will need to move on and stop wasting time. Plenty of other options. If he hasn't already begun to negotiate with others he's really dropping the ball.

As I stated before. This will be announced publicly in the a.m.
