Fire Ben Johnson

2nd best D1 program in the state. St Thomas at the moment is a better job than MN and they are still in postseason ban
That 5 year post season ban is mighty stupid btw. STU is a prime example. Although, one of the few caveats was FDU getting the opportunity to slay Purdue

It's meant to discourage every DII program with an inflated ego from trying to move up.

You must love living in the 82'..... can u throw that Foosball over them mountains still?

Last year's roster means nothing... it never will again. So get over it

I'm just not understanding how this is all Ben's fault.
There may be some culpability other than CBJ, e.g. Coyle and UofM administration. However, all the other schools are subjected to the same rules as UofM/CBJ and those schools are not all tied with the gophers in last place. Those other coaches/schools recruited different players, hired different assistant coaches, had different approach to practice and game-time coaching with obvious different results than CBJ and the gophers. The remaining roster and next year's recruits aren't looking significantly different than the current roster and may even be worse.

Probably at least three openings in the B1G 18 this year. Woodson is all but done. Fran. Ben. Anyone else?

Tauer is going to have options in the near future. Honestly, I don’t know if he’d take it unless it was the perfect job, but I’m not surprised to see his name in Iowa’s potentials. I’m sure they’ll throw in some MIAC and HS coaches too.

One of the ultimate merit-based jobs. You might get the job for other reasons; the duration of your job might vary by a year or two +/- for other reasons; but in the end, your performance record doesn’t lie.
