I'm a double rival of Iowa** being a Twin Cities guy and an ISU alumni but I agree. That atmosphere was pretty awesome. That level of crowd won't be sustainable but something even around 8-9K is top ten and maybe top 5. I've heard some peeps diss it as a bandwagon ride but I disagree with that. While not this chart topping great, Iowa attendance has always been really good.

Think the Gophers are easily in the attendance build part of "build it and they will come". Minnesota has a great base of HS, college and WNBA fans here.

** I am enough of WBB fan to enjoy watching Gustafson and Clark play, rivalry be damned.

Again zero offense and terrible shot selection. Would have thought this team would come out with more fight from the beatings they took last year. Need to get going before this gets out of control.
 





Ugly start as usual, why this team cannot start fast against good teams is beyond me. They have forgotten how to defend the perimeter last few games.
 


How was there a shot clock violation with time on the clock and they didn’t play the last 1.3 seconds? Did I miss something?
 



We always start so ugly. We need to correct this if we want to improve. You can't give a good team a ten point lead.
 





We are a true Jekyll and Hyde team. We have so much energy, heart and focus on defense. But our offense flat out sucks. No other way to put it. We'll have 4 stops in a row... and then get 0 ourselves over that stretch and on Iowa's next possesion will hit a 3 and we've fallen farther behind.
We need to find an athletic scorer in the portal. Pay the money.

Yeah it’s really bad. We have a so called defensive minded coach who can’t run an offense. Got out coached badly the first half by a first year head coach.
 






Only down by 6 going into the 4th. Nice open door for us. Just keep that defense up and make those shots at the rim and we can do this. No airballs in the 4th!!
 



Iowa hitting the big shots down the stretch and the Gophers can't quite get the lead.
