No team would die for his shooting this year. Also, his lack of foot speed really shows when he defends a quick player. He got beat badly a few times against MI State. He seems to be a smart player, but I think you give him a bit too much credit overall defensively. How can you be a “lockdown defender” when the player you are defending is able to blow by you? He needs to find that shot, and soon. His poor shooting (along with Willis’s) during Big 10 play is costing us games. With that said, I like his demeanor, and when he shoots well (or even average!) he is a good player. Lately, he has been anything but good. I hope that changes.
