Living overseas has made flipping on the TV and catching sports highlights a challenging endeavor, so my subscription to Apple TV+ has been a nice add with their daily highlights--it's strange packaging, as they just run a bunch of highlights, you have no idea when any particular team's highlights will be coming, they don't give you any summary of which team won, who was the winning pitcher, home runs, etc, etc, but hey, it's something and it's easy and my boys have gotten in the habit of asking for a little baseball highlights before heading off to sleep, which I certainly appreciate.
The whole point of this paragraph is to make note that recently I've seen two Twin alums pop up who might fall in line with the great Twins for the purposes of the Grid, next to luminaries such as Jeff Reboulet, LaTroy Hawkins, Jesse Orosco, Denny Neagle, et al.
Robbie Grossman: 7 teams--Twins, Astros, Tigers, Athletics, Rangers, Braves, and White Sox
Jake Cave: 3 teams (one to watch)--Twins, Phillies, Rockies--can't believe he's only 31 years old--seemed like he was with the Twins for fifteen years. Funny enough, the minor leaguer the Twins traded for him, Luis Gil, has found himself in the rotation for the Yankees this year at age 26. He doesn't look like a world beater, but he's also getting starts for a first place team, so good on him.
