I did:Twins alert on the Grid.
- Slick. (0.09%)
- WS Catcher (0.4%)
- Side arm reliever (0.1%)
I was pretty stuck on the Mariners line though and could not think of anyone really obscure so, still only had 65%.
Got a 21 today. One of my best.Twins alert on the Grid.

More than half of that was on Jamie Moyer, so that's rather impressive.Got a 21 today. One of my best.
Totally fair. It's not technically cheating, but for some reason, I have started getting reels of people opening old wax packs on my Facebook feed. The other day, some guy pulled an Orioles Jeff Reboulet card. I banked in my mind that he was also a Twin. Couple days later, the stars align and he's good for 0.5%.
I'm stumped on that one.Canadian reliever from the same era as your guy, known for his thick goatee
Note to self, in addition to have < 3.00 ERA for both the Twins & Angels, Corbett also would have worked for the O's-Halos combo. I was unaware he had a brief stint in Baltimore.
Was your guy Pat Neshek? If not then yeah my comment wouldn’t make sense.I'm stumped on that one.

Ahh, I get it. No, mine was Doug Corbett, I was way too vague, from the early 80s.Was your guy Pat Neshek? If not then yeah my comment wouldn’t make sense.
Anyway mine was Jesse Crain
Bummer. My April streak ended today-Cubs no hitter. I’d been able to roll pretty good luck throughout the month and I was thwarted by one of the oldest franchises going—albeit one with a paucity of no-hitters. Onto May!
Ha no wonder you were confused, my fault.Ahh, I get it. No, mine was Doug Corbett, I was way too vague, from the early 80s.
I was able to get an Overall Rarity score of 5%, including my 3 Twins (including 1 Senator) at 0.24%.This is a day to feast on MLB grid, especially with the Twins featured. I was able to use former Twins for the entirety of the Angels row also.
At the moment, the cumulative Rarity Score has actually dropped to 4%I was able to get an Overall Rarity score of 5%, including my 3 Twins (including 1 Senator) at 0.24%.
I will share later on.
My Twins line was: John Moses (.05%), Willie Norwood (.009%) and Steve Brye (.01%)At the moment, the cumulative Rarity Score has actually dropped to 4%
Top Row LF - CF - RF
Halos - Disco Danny Ford - 0.2% / Darrell Miller (older bro of Reggie & Cheryl) 0.02% / Winnie 1%
Cubbies - Ralph Kiner 0.2% / Lou Brock 0.6% / Keith Moreland / 2%
Twinks - Sofield 0.06% / Downtown Darrell Brown 0.06% / The Big Train 0.09%
Seems like serendipity that somehow Keith Moreland (2%) is the most common on a list that includes 4 HoFers.
Under 1% total. Wow, hats off.My Twins line was: John Moses (.05%), Willie Norwood (.009%) and Steve Brye (.01%)
For the Angels, here were my Twins alums: Jimmie Hall (.01%), Ken Landreux (.01%) and Papa Ron Jackson (.06%)--I have to admit, I checked Jackson's fielding stats before entering his name, as I had a glimmer of a memory that he had some outfield spot starts in his career.
No Twins alums for the Cubs line, and I won't tell you how long I spent mining my memory of my old Topps collection from the late '70s/early '80s, but here's my line:
Mel Hall (.1%), Jerry Mumphrey (.1%) and Carmen Fanzone (he of the incredible mustache from the beautiful '75 Topps set) (at .02%). Fanzone was another "double check"--otherwise Moreland would have been my guy--not too many memorable Cubs from the late '70s/early '80s.
It's so random--as you said, who could have predicted Moreland would have been your high water mark with 4 HOF'ers in the mix? Once Jimmie Hall and Landreaux fell into place with such low numbers, I devoted a ridiculous amount of time to the Ron Jackson & Carmen Fanzone squares.Under 1% total. Wow, hats off.
I dodged a bullet already on A's Gold Glove winners today. My April streak ended today-Cubs no hitter. I’d been able to roll pretty good luck throughout the month and I was thwarted by one of the oldest franchises going—albeit one with a paucity of no-hitters. Onto May!
You made it further than me-I was done in by the D-Backs/Blue Jays back on the 5th.My quest for a perfect May is done.
Hard to fathom that Kirk Gibson never played in the Mid-Summer Classic as a Detroit Tiger. Seriously?!? Actually he never appeared in an All Star game, period. Wow,
It's a fickle game, I skated on the D-Backs/Jays using the Edwin Jackson cheat code guess as I didn't think (correctly) LaTroy Hawkins had a stint in Arizona. You made it further than me-I was done in by the D-Backs/Blue Jays back on the 5th.
You know who's a sneaky surprising Tiger All-Star? 11x catcher Bill Freehan. Years ago I was looking through some statistics or baseball cards and thought, 'G'damn, someone named Bill Freehan locked down the catcher spot in All-Star games through the '60s into the '70s.' 10 consecutive years! Trammell and Whitaker combined had 11 appearances. (I suppose you could say, Trammell, Whitaker, and Kirk Gibson combined ;-)).It's a fickle game, I skated on the D-Backs/Jays using the Edwin Jackson cheat code guess as I didn't think (correctly) LaTroy Hawkins had a stint in Arizona.
Today sent packing using Gibson, instead of Whitaker, Trammel, Morris, Verlander et al.

It is crazy to think Gibson never made an All Star game, ever. He has to be at the top of the list of best players never to play in an All-Star game.
