All Things Class of 2015 Recruiting - Class Finally Complete? Nope Chris Obekpa visit

How is Wilson going to the basket, sounds like he can shoot from the 3-pt line.

They still let the old guys coach I guess, Ghizoni's gettting up there.

Getting to the basket is actually his biggest strength. Very good at beating guys off the dribble and finishing at the rim. He's a good shooter (particularly off the dribble) when he is on, but he is very inconsistent and streaky. Not sure if he just happened to have a good shooting night or if he has improved his consistency (hopefully the latter). Love watching him play.

I had a chance to see Hill Murray play on Friday. Though I don't see Marshawn as a true PG, he handles pretty well and is very strong with the ball going to the bucket. He got out of control a few times and ended up turning it over or forcing a bad shot, but he is definitely capable of getting to the bucket. I thought his shot looked pretty good, though he did not shoot a high percentage in the game I saw. Becoming a more consistent shooter would make him really difficult to defend. With his length and athleticism, he is a very good rebounding guard, and pretty dangerous because he can grab a rebound and take it the other way rather quickly. He can be a really good defender on the ball, but he needs to be sure he is doing that on all possessions. I also think he can improve away from the ball on both ends, providing weakside help defensively and moving to get open on the other end.

Agreed on the rebounding, especially offensively. He comes up with more offensive rebounders as a combo guard than maybe anyone I've seen in high school, and that includes a lot of high level guys. Can hound opposing ball handlers and likes to pick them up full court. Just a fun player to watch.

If Jarvis goes to Wisky I will be pissed. Pitino has to shut that border down. We need Alex and Jarvis to be Gophers. Must get both. The next recruiting class has to be killer. Pitino appears to be a hard worker and now won't be coming in so late on the trail with some of these kids. But damn no more MN Badger players.

4-star at ESPN and Scout. 3-star at Rivals and 247. Doesn't seem to have a ton of high major offers yet.

Looks like he could be a combo guard, since he has a pretty good handle for a SG. I love that Pitino recruits wings that are strong ball handlers. We had so few ball handlers under Tubby.

Brownsburg, IN ... I believe that is the hometown of Gordon Hayward (and Mark Titus).

I feel embarrassed that I figured out that The Real Truth is Saul Smith but I didn't see that Goldiegirl was Mrs. Ellenson. I thought it was Betty White or Bea Arthur from the moniker!!!

He is not...... Is he??

No. Jamalo accuses anyone that disagrees with him of being a member of the team, a parent, or a coach.

He missed the only one that was blatantly obvious in Goldie Girl.

Not entirely true; anyone who is a bigger fan of Tubby than the Gophers. Certain of them have never posted anything to indicate that they even watch the games or root for the team

After some research I've came up with sort of a 2015 Big board. Please correct me if I'm wrong on something or if I have forgotten a recruit.

Maybe he should just kidnap them, or do you have a magic close the borders secret?

Disappointing, since I think we will need a lot of bigs in this class, at least we know now and can move on to other options

Did he and the Minny girlfriend break up or something? I thought she was our lifeline.

Oh well. I'm sure Pitino will be after some other highly ranked big guys. Illkainen is definitely the top priority.
