How can one be wrong about what they value? Not possible. You have the right to be wrong

Several ways, more corporations could pony up rather than regular fans. Ticket brokers and those that agreed to the prices could have bought them and then sell them to visiting fans. They also sellout every game so I'm not sure how true your statement can be.
Probably all the ones who didn't inherit the clubs from their parents.Of interest (possibly only to me):
Cousins and Wilson are two NFL players who have been excellent businessmen, in the sense that they have fully leveraged their situations to their own maximum financial advantage.
How many NFL owners got rich by doing exactly that same thing?
The implemented the Seat Licenses because they could, not because they had to.Standard MO for all new NFL stadiums.
There’s a giant list of folks who want in and have the cash, if you can’t afford it. Welcome to the NFL.
Has nothing to do with Wilfs specifically
NFL teams certainly appreciate their rabid and fully invested TV fans when they cash their check from the revenue sharing portion of their media deals. The implemented the Seat Licenses because they could, not because they had to.
Regardless, the Wilfs and any NFL owner needs the "only TV fans" to draw eyeballs and get Networks and Streamers to cough up for rights, were they get the bulk of their revenue.
They make loads of cash no matter how many walk into their TV studio stadium. Lots show up to root for the opponent.

There were several games this year when it looked like more than 30% visiting fans. Chiefs looked closer to 50-50. I bet when the Lions come to town in 2024 it will be similar.
It's not a matter of being "upset", it's simply stating a number of Vikings fans were either priced out or just refused to pay up for the Seat Licenses. No different than stating that some Gopher fans balked and bailed at required scholarship donations. You can say this about pretty much every NFL team. How many times have Vikings fans taken over opposing stadiums, including when they played in KC? This also happened at the dome, especially when GB came to town.
Being upset at the Wilfs for doing what the majority of other NFL teams has done is really odd.
Sure they are. Top 2 ownership in the league.Granted, the Wilfs are not unique.
This is just silly. How can one be wrong about what they value?
Denial ain’t a River in Egypt kiddoSure they are. Top 2 ownership in the league.

It must be fun to speculate for a job. Not worrying if you were wrong.More Mock Draft Nonsense from The Athletic (I disagree with the premise/strategy of bringing back Mpls’ boy toy and drafting a QB as well; one it the other and make D, D and more D the priority)-
7. Minnesota Vikings (from TEN)*: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Projected trade: Vikings send No. 11, No. 109 and a 2025 second-rounder to the Titans for No. 7
Bringing back Cousins and drafting McCarthy is the ideal outcome for the Vikings, as that would bridge the short-term with the long-term at the roster’s most important position. But with Denver, Las Vegas, New Orleans and maybe a few other teams potentially in the McCarthy market, it might require a trade up for Minnesota to nab the Michiganquarterback.
Fire everyone!Their employees who rated them #2. These employees are the same people that have contributed to their failures to win an NFC Championship.
I don't give a rip about their confidence in the Owners. The accomplishment that matters to me is winning.
I agree this is dumb. If you bring back cousins you need to draft someone that can help nowMore Mock Draft Nonsense from The Athletic (I disagree with the premise/strategy of bringing back Mpls’ boy toy and drafting a QB as well; one it the other and make D, D and more D the priority)-

Slave owners valued the ability to own slaves. That’s an extreme example that has nothing to do with the NFL, but it proves the point of just because you say you value something doesn’t mean you can’t be wrong to value that.
You’re wrong
It’s neat that the Chiefs ownership got lucky as hell hiring Andy Reid and got lucky as hell hitting on Mahomes in the draft.
That’s neat.
They’re still absolutely horseS owners.
Vets who have likely experienced other operations as well.Their employees who rated them #2.
For the Vets sake, I hope they got to play in the Super Bowl with another franchise.Vets who have likely experienced other operations as well.
Wilfs are on of the best ownerships in the league.

Valid, logical, reasonable. My assumption/base line for how the Owners treat their players staff is that they are lawful and do not discriminate. If those that are at or near the bottom still meet that threshold, then I do not care how they are ranked.
Highly doubt their fans care. You think the Chiefs fans really care about where they rank in that poll or are they happy with the Championships?

It’s fascinating theaterHey - in my book, mock drafts are "for amusement purposes only." but they do reveal something about how different players are perceived by the media. whatever you think about the media - even if you think everything they write is "clickbait," media members do have access to decision-makers. they do have sources.
and the point - I am seeing McCarthy now being mocked consistently as the #4 QB in the draft. and a lot of mocks have Penix and Nix falling out of the 1st round.
So - IF the Vikes want McCarthy, it's possible they might have to trade up to ensure they land him. BUT - if the Vikes want to go defense with the 1st pick, it's also possible that Penix or Nix might be available in the 2nd round.
it all comes down to how the Vikes have the QB's rated. If they see McCarthy as clearly better than Penix and Nix, then he should be the guy. But, if the Vikes see Penix or Nix as comparable to McCarthy, then maybe they can wait until the 2nd round to grab a QB.
