All Things 2024-25 Vikings Regular Season Thread

Dan Campbell with the idiot of the day award. Horrible onside kick and the Bills go up 17 on Detroit.

Dan Campbell has a lot of equity in the bank at this point, but that was one of the dumbest coaching decisions I have ever seen.

I'm hoping that move, along with them getting hammered (so far) today, excuses him from the running for Coach of the Year; not just because I don't want him to get it, but I have money on 2 or 3 of the other guys in the running; KOC, Sean Payton, J. Gannon in AZ (unlikely but he could get some votes).

Post game interview will be interesting.

Lions asst coaches and players had to be pretty shocked when the onside kick team trotted out on the field.
Yup. Especially when they just held the Bills to a FG in the previous possession.

I think unless Lions win the a SB, Dan may wear out his welcome eventually.

Those helmets are great though😃

Glad Lions lost but have to give them credit for hanging in there. Their offense is very, very good. D is hurting though.

The Lions have loss. So if Minnesota wins out they win the NFC North.
If we win at Seattle, beat our biggest rival twice and then close it on the road at Detroit, we will have earned it, regardless if Detroit’s injury situation. If that happens wirlth Darnold as our QB, KOC should definitely be coach of the year.

Amazing rides so far and let’s pummel the 🐻 tomorrow night when everyone’s watching🥳

Sounds like NcNeill and Carlton are done for the season. After all the Lions' defensive players lost due to injury this season, now today they lose two of their best who remained. Really unbelievable how injury continues to ravage their defense.

The door is open for Vikes to win the North. And also earn the bye if Philly stumbles along the way here.

The Lions have the best offensive roster in the NFL, not close. Virtually not a hole on the offensive side of the ball.

The Bengals did the Lions a huge, HUGE favor a few years ago taking Jamarr Chase instead of Penei Sewell. Sewell could very well go down as one of the greatest OL in league history, he's that good. Good grief, I heard one source say he's the best athlete in the NFL. WTF....

And the Jags taken Travon Walker at #1 instead of Aidan Hutchinson. Talk about a couple of gifts to the Lions.... it never hurts to get lucky along the way

Gink!

* The Lions lost RB David Montgomery and their best DT (McNeill) for the rest of the season with injuries yesterday.

* Geno Smith will most likely miss the game next week against us. His backup, Sam Howell, was sacked four (4) times in like 12 plays.

Nationally televised games for the Vikings scare the poop out of me regardless of the opponent. Start strong and keep our foot on the Bears' throat for 60 minutes.

The Seahawks are still optimistic that Geno's injury is not that severe, haven't even ruled him out for next week's game. I haven't seen the line movement on this; i think the lookahead line was Vikings favored at (-2) or so before the injury. Current line I saw shows Vikings (-4).

First things first, gotta take care of the lowly Bears tonight.

I got the chlorlseptic spray for this huge d in my mouth
