So if Buxton and Correa are both hurt, which is the assertion being made given their terrible batting lately, why not just IL then for 10 days. They are both unplayable on offense and only one is playing defense. It’s not like you don’t have people that could step in and play for them.

He’s hitting like .180 in May though. .660 OPS and just 3 HR.

If we are in the:
AL East:. 10 GB (last)
AL West: 7.5 GB (4th tied)
NL East:. 4 GB (2nd tied)
NL Central: 0.5 GB ( 2nd)
NL West : 5 GB (3rd tied)

Looks like we are definitely in the right AL division. We actually would be in the hunt at least in the NL divisions.

They should both be put on the IL. It's very obvious they need it, especially Buxton.

The AL West is really skewed with how bad the Oakland Athletics are playing.

It may get that division an extra Wild Card. It would have been even more of an impact without schedule changes implemented this season.

Ok so at the very least I hope this at least reverse jinxes a win tonight.

But this organization really does not fucking want to win. LIke its blatantly obvious.

We sent down Wallner while he was 8 for his last 8 reaching base. Seeing the ball incredibly well. To get Kepler in??? You fucking tell Max to sit his ass on IL and wait out Wallner. Look at Wallner in AAA. Its absolutely pathetic how we treat our youth.

Farmer and Solano batting clean up and 2nd?? vs a righty? Fucking gross negligence

We bat Correa and Buxton 3rd and 4th every game(when they play) while they are the two worst guys on the whole team with RISP. Seriousy, look at Buxtons numbers last two years.

DH only????? For that production. Literally run by a group of monkeys.

Kiriloff batting behind both Correa and Buxton was disgusting.

Ok thats just the lineup. Dont need to mention the zero bullpen help weve gotten and Roccos moronic managing of said bullpen almost nightly.

Funniest thing was the game vs Giants. They started an opener(we all knew it) and Rocco starts Julien and AK. They bring in a lefty in the 2nd inning and both guys get pulled. Julien doesnt even get an AB. You waste two of your best talents(1 being the literal best hitter on the team) so that Kyle Garlick and Donovan Solano can face a lefty with no one on down 4 in the 2nd inning?

First Solano with a bases juiced single and then Jeffers with a DOUBLE.

Bummer it was a ground ruler. I hate that rule with 2 outs. Stupid.
 

Success with the bases loaded. Jeffers’ needs to catch more. I don’t care if he’s a boxer behind the plate the guys can get a hit way more often then the alternative.

Well the meltodwn worked for Solano for 1 game.

I will say that while its surprising 2 hits came with bases loaded, its not surprising we are crushing it with RIsp today when both Buxton and Correa sit....

Vasquez has made too many late game defensive blunders for anyone to tell me that his glove offsets Jeffers bat.

The sad thing is, Jeffers overall isnt even a great bat. Vasquez is just that brutal and Jeffers is seeing the ball amazingly right now.
 

Even with the high Ks right now I like Juliens bat. Very good approach and can use the whole field

His fielding however..........wooooooooooooooooof

A key guy who is struggling. That was the perfect time to bring in a guy who has struggled.

Season is so long but feels like a big win tonight. Nice series win against a team that was sizzling coming in. Maintain our 2 game lead
