Go Gophers!!

How many times has an opponent been in the bonus in the first half against WI this year?

Oregon doing a pretty good job on Lurch. If they hadn't missed some inside shots they would be ahead by 3

"Hayes got away with a hook" could be said five times a game.

Becky is living on borrowed time. The Ducks have missed so many under the bucket shots it's ridiculous.

Oregon is killing themselves.

Also, this happened a little while ago:

Wisconsin has like 18 fouls to give before Oregon shoots free throws.

That's 17 times funnier than those Shaq, Laettner, washed up players sitting around a room commercials.

I'd kinda like to see Maryland win, but West Virginia is a pretty fun team to watch. They play fast and aggressive.

The difference between the elder and younger Pitino: Louisville gets out and guards shooters.

It amazes me how few people understand the over-and-back rule. Both feet and the ball have to cross the half court line first for it to be over-and-back.

The lack of understanding reminds me of the offside rule in soccer except that over and back is so much easier to understand. People need to figure this out.

We will have to wait and see if it is the difference between the coaches or the quality of the players they have.

But Huggins is a pompous @ss and a sleazeball. Kentucky-WVU is a meteor game.

I'll give you this: if the Gophers sagged and helped more than we wanted them to, it might have been because of lack of quickness and poor interior defense. That said, the Gophs got beat at least twice this year because of outrageous outside shooting by the opponent. Pitino has emphasized how important the three-point FG is on offense; it's curious that they don't seem to recognize its importance on defense.

Question: Why did North Carolina play Thursday-Saturday and Wisconsin Friday-Sunday and then they play each other next Thursday? Does this not give North Carolina an advantage with an extra day to prepare/ rest? It doesn't seem like it would be hard to have them play on the same day. If not the advantage should be to the higher seed.

They stopped playing both halves of the region together in the 1st and second round when they went to the pod system, so it hasn't been that way for several years. With 4 days off, it's not really an advantage. You could just as easily cry 'we were rusty' if you played Saturday and then don't play until Friday. No one is weeping for Bucky.
