Just saw that as well! Since when have we been recruiting this guy? Anyone know much about him? All I know is that he plays with Louisville commit Shaquan Aaron on Rainier Beach, a top HS team in the country. Should I be getting excited?!

I found very little info. 6-6 wing. Good motor on both ends of the court, tough to the hole, can shoot the 3.

EDIT: I have not been to Washington to see him play.

I've seen this kid's named spelled 3 different ways... Dujuan, Dajuan, and Djuan.

Love this pipeline we are creating in washington, The northwest is my home away from home, and whenever I visit family there I make sure I can catch some high school basketball, good talent comes from that region of the country, hope pitino and staff remains heavily interested in that region, and as for Djuan Piper, I don't know much about him, but texted my cousin from seattle just now and he says he would be a great get for Minnesota or any program, lengthy kid, and is a shutdown defender, not a likely player to become a star on a team, but does all the little things right, someone you can depend on every game to give it his all.

Why did all the sites update the rating on piper but have yet to do so with martin?

in regards to piper...

Piper was mentioned as a target in the late Summer or Fall. I remember trying to find more info about him at that time. Not a bad final 3 for a kid from the Seattle area if you make the assumption that all offers are legitimate.

Could be tough to be UW, but they've been kind of slumping the last couple of years.

I see Josh Martin is following him. I love that Martin changed his name to Josh #SkiUMartin. Haha

I searched in "Dujuan Piper" and the ESPN recruiting page has the spelling "Dejuan Piper" on the initial google search (not on his page tho). One more spelling for ya.

Anyone have the insider?????? .

Strengths:
Piper has that prototypical wing-type frame with very long arms and outstanding quickness. He excels in transition where he can slash his way to the rim utilizing his length and athleticism. In addition, he can also spot up and hit he mid-range jump shot. Defensively, he has all the physical intangibles to be a defensive stopper.

Weaknesses:
Piper is still quite raw on the offensive end. He needs to get more comfortable with the ball in his hands while being pressured and continue to smoothen out his jump shot. Overall, his skill set and fundamentals (jump stop and playing on balance) need to improve.

Bottom Line:
Piper is just scratching the surface of his potential. If he is willing to work on his skills and overall feel for the game, he has a chance to be a Division I player.

Just updated it today when i looked earlier they had him listed as 1 star

Do you mean this article was written after he received his new ranking? If so, the bolded part is moronically obvious.

no, don't do that.

You mean don't do this?
