Get a scholarship at the U, transfer the next year(no coaching change), you transfer because the grass looks greener, you are responsible for the cost of the.scholarship. After all, by you taking the scholarship offer, you prevented someone else from enjoying the benefits.
I see Iowa is paying only $1000 per month ($12,000) for 115 football players. Not sure where the extra 30 players come from. Seems like an extraordinary number of walkons.
Been there twice. Nothing special. Kind of like M.State, had to be bussed from the outer parking lot. However that may have changed as that area has been redone. Also they didn’t sell alcoholic beverages in their concession stands. Hard to believe Catholics missing out on beer/wine.
Reading the Des Moines Register, I see the Suckeyes are predicting the
defense to be the really good - perhaps the best in recent memory. Freshmen All-American, loads of depth, backend loaded with talent plus B1G leader in interceptions. Doesn’t sound good in winning the pig.
Especially interesting in that the idiot Governor has publicly stated that he wasn’t notified in the conference (UCLA) change. As the “head” regent he will void the change at the first chance he gets. Perhaps even the next Regents meeting. So B1G, don’t count your chickens yet.
Of course not. But then it’s a stupid question. Losing to NMS , no way in God’s green earth would we beat Ia,Neb.,Wis.,Mich. State and specially Penn State.
Remember Barta was Senior Associate A.D. at Washington for 8 years. Also Ohio State’s A.D. Gene Smith is a graduate of N.D. It would seem both would sway opinions if asked to vote.
USC and Nebraska aren’t even in the same universe as to football. Even though I expect(pick) the Cornsuckers to be 9 - 4 this year. USC would win it all this year in the B1G West.
Been there twice. Haven’t seen a victory yet. Friendly fans. Seems like the alumni met in a bar/dinner on campus as meeting place. Long walk from parking lots to the stadium.
What a travesty for college athletics. Once again change the Damm rule. No money until their second year on campus. Less effect on recruiting. Better for the *sugar daddy* as athlete as to prove his merits.
