2022 NCAA Tournament Thread

How the hell does a college arena not have a ladder or something capable of getting the ball down quickly in that scenario? Just seems extremely egregious, especially during a NCAA tournament game.

Why does Akron go for a tie with one of their best players fouled out? Shoot a 3 and go for the win.

I feel like the Big Ten is amazing but it seems like they flop hard every tournament. I'm going to bet against them big time. Only team I really like is Purdue.
People who have Purdue in the final four are going to feel like people who had Iowa in the final four (🙋‍♂️), by the end of the weekend. #smallten

Kalkenbrenner from Creighton went down with a nasty knee injury in OT.
That was an ACL before he went down initially. You could tell by the way his knee torqued and how much pain he was in on the ground. Tried to get up and play through it but the first step his knee buckled. Not fun to watch

Unlike Iowa Purdue plays defense, they have a better chance to progress through the brackets, a team like Iowa has one bad shooting night and they are done, not a good look for a tournament like the NCAA's.

3 OT games, 15 over 2, 12 over 5 x2 and a couple other narrow misses. Just a typical opening day in the NCAA tournament. This is fun
#11 Michigan won too. Wasn't really an upset but still a double digit seed moving on.

Holy smokes! Just looked at the box score for Gonzaga. Wow, 17 rebounds, 7 blocks and 5 assists in 29 minutes.
If you watched the game, 1/2 the time Ol' Chet was being guarded by guys 6'4" - 6'6"----it was almost comical. Georgia State's big man hurt his knee early and was unable to return. Chet won't have that luxury in the NBA.....

Iowa was 74 in KenPom adjusted defensive efficiency. Purdue was 102. Neither team plays good defense -- certainly not nearly good enough to win a championship -- but Purdue plays bad defense worse.

hahahahhaha

uh huh

Just like Iowa

Don't be so hard on the conference . They deserved 9 teams, but all are over seeded by 4 or 5 spots. Seeding must change. They should be between 7 an 13'S at best. All so called mid mangers should be seeded higher, but powered 5 money dictates
