Trey Potts - UPDATED With Statement from the U

If I wanted to read about the dangers of vaccination with the mRNA vaccine I would watch Tucker Carlson on Fox not see that drivel on the Gopher Hole.
When his parents give permission the full story will be revealed.
It is obviously not a trivial matter for he is still in te hospital.

From U:

“…the Gophers said they would provide further updates when they are available, with the permission of Potts and his family.

So, shhhhhhhhhhh.
The silencer is back! Don’t even think about making that comment 😎

Depending on the vessel that is blocked it absolutely can be the emergency you say it isn’t. Yours sounds like a segmental or subsegmental PE. You were lucky. A saddle embolus, blocking central pulmonary arteries can result in sudden death.
Are you a doctor?

Has this thread evolved beyond baseless speculation and personal attacks between members yet?

Would really like some firm and hopefully positive information on Trey's condition.

On TV, Trey's final running play before the winning field goal doesn't appear to show any signs of trouble. He walked off the field like normal. @Replacement Gopher, you were right there at the game close to the tent (@ #10, #25).

Did anyone else in your party see if he had collapsed?

I have been thinking about him all week. All we can do is pray for the young man and his family and wait for the official statements.

Didn’t see him collapse. Only saw when multiple people were carrying him to the tent. The way the we’re carrying him did not suggest a bone or ligament injury.

This was during the last few plays and frankly I didn’t see the game-sealing interception although it happened right in front of me as I was watching the tent. Then I thought the boys didn’t need to see any more so we moved away.

Update - there is no update.

From the Strib on Thursday:

Gophers running back Trey Potts remained hospitalized in Indiana on Thursday, five days after being rushed by ambulance from Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium.

Asked for an update on Potts' condition, a Gophers spokesman referenced the team's statement from Monday, which said Potts is with his family in Indiana, receiving medical attention.

The Gophers have a bye this week, so coach P.J. Fleck has no media availability scheduled until next Monday. Minnesota plays host to Nebraska on Oct. 16.

And - hell has frozen over. Pat Reusse complimented Gopher Hole. On a Skor North podcast, Reusse said (paraphrasing)-"The Gopher Fans knew about Potts before the media. I read about it on Gopher Hole." he then recapped how Gopher fans saw the activity on the sideline and posted accounts of it on Gopher Hole, before anyone in the media reported on the situation.
This changes my worldview. I was firmly in the "of course Gopher fans should tell their accounts here", but now that Pat agrees with me. . .I'm just confused.

LOL, no. The MD after your name stands for mentally deficient, VACTERL syndrome association boi. LMAO!

Anyway, I’m hoping the best for Trey.

Damn.

Feeling really dizzy all of a sudden after coming off the field. This is just bizarre.

Hope the family feels OK at some point in the future to share what happened. We know damn well that Fleck will never say a word.

Since everyone is assuming, how about this assumption. Think of the shit storm that would be caused if Potts had a blood clot that formed in his lungs due to receiving the Covid-19 vaccination? That would be a condition that would definitely cause silence at ground zero. I can tell from a past experience that once a blood clot is found in the lungs you will never see a medical team move faster at treatment in your life. It would explain the heavy commotion of getting him in and out of the tent that has been described in the earlier posts of this thread. Oh, how politics have ruined our way of life!
WTF!

I know! How dare anyone bring up an unlikely diagnosis?!?!?! WTF! Not only should that poster's account be banned but I think he should probably be doxxed and his life ruined for having the audacity to post something less than 100% in line with all of the facts that have been laid out clearly, consistently, and without political manipulation by the CDC.

To do that in a thread where we are discussing only realistic remedies and diagnoses is borderline terrorism. I gasped in horror when I read the post too.

Going to go out on a limb and say that assuming he is one of the high number of players that has been vaccinated, it didn't just happen so I would put the odds of the vaccination having anything to do with what happened with Potts on Saturday at less than zero.

Not sure why you felt the need to try and take this thread down this path but it is already pretty worthless at this point so may as well make it political.

I would subscribe to a Bob Loblaw Substack.
Just on fire of late.

I'm not going to visit Gopherhole until he is cancelled.

Very sad to hear he is still in the hospital. Nothing but well wishes to the Potts family. The young man has been a class act as a Gopher and hopefully this is not a career ending type situation for him with football.

Pioneer Press reports that he has been discharged from the hospital.

Thanks Donald.
