That is kind of like saying amazingly adequate!
Either way is fine

I will copy what I said on another thread:
"What I don't understand with all of the turmoil about this, is why we weren't this up in arms when Texas and Navy cancelled games with us? That pisses me off more than this fiasco. "
They were better than average but currently UNC is very average.
Incorrect. A Sagarin rating of #22 and receiving poll votes doesn't constitute average. Sorry.
Wrong blowing out elon and Idaho doesn't make you a top 25 team no matter who voted. Squeaking out a win vs Miami and losing to wake hurts because both teams are bad. We would be their equal this year

Jeff Sagarin, widely respected, referenced, and cited statistician, needs to fix his obviously biased statistical analysis because GopherHole poster lakesgopher knows more about statistics than he does. And, we must ask ourselves, why wouldn't he be biased toward an ACC team? Everyone knows that everyone is biased toward the powerhouse ACC football programs. They receive a bump whether they want to or not.
Ndsu was ahead of tech, ucla, and others for most of the season by sagarin. At that point it lost credibility
You're unbelievable. You honestly think you know more about statistics than Jeff F'ing Sagarin. I'm seriously dumbfounded. Congratulations - I now put absolutely zero stock in anything you have to say about anything.
I'm guessing he mixed up Fresno State & San Jose State.
Nope I am a social studies teacher sagarin is a math wiz. I never said I know more than him, I said UNC has ballooned their stats vs bad teams and it helps them with sagarin. I think the fact ndsu is ranked in sagarin as high as they are is a joke. No fcs team should ever be higher than 60 IMO and the fact you put so much stock into sagarin tells me you don't watch the games UNC is not a great team they are a middle of the road team
↑ doesn't understand statistics, particularly Sagarin's methodology
You're cute. You must not realize the games are played on the field not on a calculator.
Ye gads, there are so many things I would like to say, but I have be asked by GopherHole Admin to stop badmouthing commentors comments.
So I will simply use dpodolls all time, top shelf, applicable to all, applicale anywhere and anytime, the best of the best, as it pertains to so, so many:
"congratulations on reaching an epic-heretofore-unheard-of-level-of-dumbassery" .
Hahaha the way you defend dpo I have to assume you guys are an item
Imagine 2014 with a 4-0 start then at Penn State...who knows what shape they will be in....what will ticket sales be with Northwestern and Michigan coming to town after a 5-0 start?
You are totally wrong. dpo brings thought and proof to the board, and yes, sometimes goes a little overboard. But he has my respect even if I disagree on some things he says. But I know who, and who not, to get into pissing contests with. I learned the hard way. It ain't worth wetting your pants over.
So.....we will lose $800k.
Is that what I'm now hearing?
Agree with your point on this. I think having to take a few punches in the non conference is the best way to get ready for the conference sched. If only we had been 4-0 going into conference play this year, imagine how confident we could have been and how much better the games against Iowa and NW would have gone. Oh wait....

Marcus tweet: "Kill on dropping UNC game: "We need to find a way to get our kids as much playing time, win some games and build some confidence." #Gophers"
Go Gophers!!

Hearing that the #Gophers football team going to New Mexico State next year is far from a done deal.
With the "bleep-"storm that this has caused that's not surprise. Teague and Kill both seem to have been blind-sided by the negative response this has generated. The e-mails from Season Ticket Holders and donors were probably also a surprise.
Teague needs to get a better opponent or an extra Home Game to calm this down. If you don't believe that take a look at yesterdays posts defending dropping the UNC game. Look how many used the "but we're getting an extra Home Game out of it".
Yeah, this isn't done yet.
