As for TCU.....or any other BCS team in a similar position.....shame on you for ignoring special teams. Might have lost them the game.
 

This game is over had they gone and converted 2 to go up 9 instead of 8.

Their special teams (well returner) kept them in the game.

Ok. That's true. However.....there is no excuse for this poor of a kicking game. It can't be difficult to find a capable FG kicker. Heck.....the Gophers have two.

ASU leads Texas Tech 37-34 at halftime. Sometimes I wonder if the Gophers are the only team that doesn't score on 80 percent of their drives.

I had Delta at +8.5. I wanted nothing to do with a 9 point margin.
 

So glad we didn't hire Leach.

Down 7-24 with 3:06 left in the third with the ball near the 10 and goes for it on 4th and short rather than kicking a FG and making it a two possession game.

Oh...and they lose by 3.

I know...that is simplistic, assuming the rest of the game runs exactly like it would after the FG attempt, but I still think that Leach is a pirate idiot.
 


Donnel Pumphrey breaks Marshall Faulk's career rushing record at SDSU (the San Diego one, not South Dakota).

Not expecting a pro career similar, since he's listed at 5'9", 180 lbs.

Teams like Texas Tech put all their best athletes on offense. Sure they may score 55 but they also give up 68. No thanks.
