I think Striggow and Joyner have both showed the ability to get towards the QB. Which is helpful. The two young S's played great and Lindenberg is that dude.
If the DEs step up, we could have a pretty fun defense next year.
I was hoping to see him as well. Maybe field conditions had something to do with it?Anyone know why Evans didn’t play or did I miss him being in?
The only thing I didn't like was the several sequences of having Lindenberg cover the slot WR. Those seemingly endless easy quick outs for 8 yards were maddening. Maybe it was genius though, as it was the same route as the pick 6.I know the defense gave up a lot of yards but I still think they were the key to the win.
Nope. Was behind NubinI watched the Gophs all season...did Coleman Bryson play much before today? I do not recall seeing him before.
Nope. He will be rsFR.I watched the Gophs all season...did Coleman Bryson play much before today? I do not recall seeing him before.
Yeah, both teams could only play at 75% of their speed because of the field. How embarrassing, game sponsored by a lawn mowing company and had to play in a cow pasture.
It felt like they had to be on the field for about 25 minutes in the second half. They looked absolutely gassed in the 4th quarter, due in part to the Stone Age play-calling. Much credit goes to them for blunting thrusts, forcing field goal tries and making Syracuse chew up clock for their last 13 points. Pass rushers get extra credit for getting pressure on their elusive quarterback in terrible footing.I know the defense gave up a lot of yards but I still think they were the key to the win.
Should start next to Nubin next year.Nope. Was behind Nubin
He was great today. I have no idea what the depth chart looks like beyond Nubin but I don't pay a ton of attention to that type of stuff.Should start next to Nubin next year.
