Other B1G Games Thread

Future B1G team Maryland loses at UVa. Chants of 'ACC, ACC' rain down on them. Sad to see that rivalry end.

I thought as the months went by I would get used to the idea of Rutgers and Maryland, even Nebraska, joining the Big Ten.....turns out it just makes me more sad.

I'm used to Nebraska, and I don't think anyone's shedding many tears about Rutgers leaving the AAC, but Maryland, that's a tough one. It takes time to build up 171 games of history.

Kudos to you for recognizing that. I'm sure there are a lot of Ohio State fans that still think he's the best PG in the country.

Well, the media does it's best to pump Craft up almost like they have something invested in him. It seems like every good play he makes gets replayed or put in the highlights. Dan Dakich for example has some bizarre infatuation with Craft, saying he'd start a college team with him over any other player in the country which is lunacy. Craft's passive and/or poor play on the offensive end of the court has been a major factor in the team losing many games this season. I can't think of one other player who didn't even average 10 points per game yet was regarded as a star player and routinely lauded by the media.

Another choke by Indiana, keeping them from tying us in the standings.

amazing end to Syracuse win at buzzer and Indiana choke. WOW!

I think I heard a smattering of boos immediately after the game ended? Tom Terrific's act getting a little old in Hoosierland?

I think worth mentioning is IU starts 3 freshman and a sophomore. Thats huge.

If Vonleh stays Indiana will contend for the Big Ten title next season, and they may be the favorites. I assume Farrell isn't going anywhere because he's not NBA material right now.

I hate hate HATE HATE to do this but....

What about Wisconsin?

They lose Brust and add a 3-star PF. So in all likelihood (especially the way Bo uses freshmen), they probably won't have a significantly better front court than they do now. Their season will hinge on Dekker finally becoming that All-B1G dominant player and Bo getting them to play elite D. I guess if Hayes took another huge step they could be a favorite, but I think they are going to miss Brust more than people think.

yup, that kid is a leader on that team, does very good job of managing the game, and plays within himself unlike jackson. But I do think that freshman pg they have now will do a good job filling in for him. I honestly don't know why he doesn't play more, other than he is a freshman and bo hates freshman. I like wisconsin a lot more for next season than I do for this season, I expect all their players to improve and the rest of the B1G is going to be losing a lot of key players, while they only lose one

Wisconsin taking it to Michigan @ Michigan
