Wow just noticed the first half score of that game. Michigan must have been pretty flat. Wi up 7 with about three and a half minutes left. Come on Michigan

Nebraska thumped hoosiers

Oops just saw it was the womens game LOL flipped to btn as they flashed the score
 

For all those who think Wisconsin sucks and isn't an absolute Big 10 power, this game will shut them up. Someday I hope Minnesota can get to their level (with a much "nicer" coach of course). It can be done in this part of the country.

The Hoosiers did get thumped yesterday though by Purdue. They have been a disappointment to their fans this year for sure.
 

Kaminsky had a great game for Badgers on a day that Brust was off a little.
 

For heaven's sake.

Wisconsin beats Michingan and our RPI just went up another 0.0001 point.

LOL. How old are you? If you're young, you probably think this is just the way Wisconsin basketball is. If you're old, you probably take the broader view that while this is a nice run under Bo Ryan (somewhat started under Bennett), Wiscy basketball has been awful and irrelevant for most of its existence, and certainly not at the level of Minnesota basketball. Definitely true during my fandom in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

I predicted Wisconsin would right the ship, and they have. Not that I'm a genius; it's just what they do. They've figured some things out, and they're working harder. They played so much better against the Gophs than they did in the first meeting. Minnesota did well to hang with them.
 

Nebraska (yes the men this time LOL) up by 6 at the half @ MSU
 


Can't have Nebraska win this, won't be good for us if we finish behind them in the standings. They have overtaken Indiana in becoming 1 of the 2 B1G teams we are competing for a tourney birth along with purdue

I don't think Purdue is on the ubble, they've alot of work to do, if we win today, vs Illinois and vs PSU and win day one at the BTT our resume will still be better than Nebraska, unless they finish 10-8 and in that case will both get in

Need to handle success in-game. Take a lead and expand it rather than come crashing to earth like Gilligan after being told he can't fly.

They did not play much better against the Gophers in the second game. The Gophers played perhaps there worst game of the year. " Minnesota did well to hang with them " ? Unreal.... Spoken like a true driveway basketball player.
 

The Nebraska win today would seem to add even more importance to beating NW. The Huskers have a favorable schedule to get to 10-8. Cant wait to hear SelectionSunday's opinion.

Agreed - looking at the rest of our schedule, and we may now need to get to 9-9, this may be a must win game.

SS is the only guy I trust on GH. station19 is second. All of the rest are tied for last place with Parski.

He'll have the same opinion he always does. The committee doesn't look at conference bids. Nebraska is another bubbler to worry about, but not much more.

Feb 23 vs PUR

Feb 26 @ILL

Mar 1 vs NW

Mar 9 vs #21 WIS

Sorry, but the Badger defense was downright awful in the first game and very good in the second.
 

Nebraska is 6-6. With that schedule they reach 9-9 easily.

We beat NE in football and they beat us in basketball. Who'd of thunk.

Yep. Nebraska is now a legit threat for an at-large bid, and they happen to reside in the Big Ten Conference.
 

Dumb time out by Izzo when they had cut it to 2, crowd going nuts & had all the momentum. He calls TO, Sparty has an awful possession, and Nebraska immediately regains control of the game.
