***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS wisconsin PAUL BUNYAN AXE IN-GAME THREAD!!!!***

Leidner fumble, Maye fumble, and not making D adjustments earlier. Still don't know if our offense would have been good enough to beat that defense.

Those two fumbles don't happen and we move the she's in right and then we don't have to rely on leidner and the pass protection. I like our chances of scoring 28 a lot better and holding them to less than that.

Also has to be embarrassing for the B1G as a conference to see another week where such an easy call is missed by the refs in a pretty crucial situation. Don't know if it would have changed the result or not but it sure would have been nice to see how the game played out if the PI call was made like it should have been.

Yes. Man those fumbles were huge. Granted, the D was horrible early, but they were once again on the field all damn day. Who knows...even if the O doesn't score on those drives, just giving the D time to rest, regroup, and adjust earlier might've helped. Disappointing.

How Many turnovers did we cough up today? I have the Gophers as minus 5.

That call doesn't bother me because it was a terrible pass. It should have been a touchdown if Mitch put the ball where it needed to be. I absolutely hate bail out pi calls.

I continue to be frustrated by the MN State Law that says the Gophers can't begin using a hurry up offense until it is too late to matter.

I think that was imposed by the Women's Studies Department along with the Gopher Socialist Forum. [emoji12]

It could have been thrown better but I don't really think of it as a bailout call its on the CB not making a play on the ball and absolutely should have been called. Its a call that is made all over the country and should have been there too, it is fine to be mad at Leidner for not executing better on the throw and also being mad at the refs for missing an obvious call.

Well that's Mumbly-Mark Dayton for ya..

Defense was terrible first half... Liedner terrible all game. Nothing to look forward to next year either. Average team at best.

Funny, Iowa fans had this same belief in the offseason. They even set a record for lowest season ticket sales. I think they ended up having a decent season, and we have a soft (on paper) schedule next season.
