***OFFICIAL*** Minnesota VS. ND State -(GAME THREAD)-

Two recruiting classes is being extremely generous by the looks of it. I hope you're right though...

I said "Competitive", not "Dominant". I shudder to think what will happen at Michigan next week.

It's going to get worse since NDSU gets the ball to start the 3rd quarter.
I just looked at the score online, can someone tell me what is going on other than we are getting are a*$ kicked.

Gray looks scared in the pocket...so tentative, like he is seeing these plays for the first time. We have open receivers and he has time but it isn't helping. I hope that he can work it out this year and be the man next year...but maybe he just was away from the position for too long. IDK...what I do know is that he has no feel for the position as a passer...and he is throwing tentatively when he does throw but most of the time he looks afraid to throw it at all... which usually means big trouble.

Despite a new coach, needing to be patient, not expecting much in his first year etc. Do you really think we should be losing to teams like NDSU.

Some plays he has time. Other (many more) times it's three steps and two dudes on him, even with a back in to block. Have to get him on the edge with the pass throw options, he's just not going to be able to sit in the pocket and sling it.

It's unacceptable. Losing to New Mexico was bad enough, but now this? We don't even look competitive out there.

We need to be aggressive on defense. It doesn't look like we're going to stop them very often, so might as well try to create a few turnovers.

Maybe Kirkwood should be playing both ways.

The offense isn't going to make any difference in the outcome of this game. If the defense doesn't start playing and make some stops it isn't going to matter. You don't win with a defense that can't make a stop.

But nope, our DBs just sit back and let them gain 7 yards so easy.

Well...it is Year 1...didn't expect much... but Gray doesn't look like a 4* Recruit at all... How do we end up like this but someone like Denard Robinson sneaks in under the radar and turns out to be a *BEAST*...???

A 3rd down stop would be nice every now and then.

If it makes anyone feel any better, Indiana is losing to North Texas 24-0.

This is just awful. No defensive intensity. Our rb's have more intensity than all the players on defense...

There is no excuse for this. I don't care if it is the first year of the new coach or not. We have more scholarships.

Are they kicking away from Stoudermire or is he not back there??

He's not back there for some reason. Hasn't been all night.

More scholarships doesn't matter if your players have no fundamentals
