The people defending Gray are ridiculous, he is part of the problem. No one even respects him passing the ball so all they do is stack the box. Gray is only a small part of the overall problem, the only difference is that our back up QB is capable and way more poised in the pocket. Give Shortell an entire game and he will show you how a QB should be throwing the ball

The problem is, with our o-line, he wouldn't last a whole game. B1G teams would bring fire zones and we'll be looking at a statue that is getting hammered. Keep rotating them and hope that having to game plan for two kinds of QB's might give us some inch of an advantage.
 


I love Kill, but if their going to lose to teams like this the honeymoon is going to be real short!

Not true at all in my opinion. The one drive where we ran the ball 10 out of 10 times and scored easily indicated to me that we have the talent. It's all about playing hard and executing.
 

Time for the "everyone is against us, they don't believe in us, it's us against the world" self pity party by the players. Getting mighty sick of this.

The reason I am not screaming about the D IS BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE ANY VIABLE BACK UPS ON D. OUR ENTIRE DEFENSE IS HOPELESS RIGHT NOW.

The QB situation is very different. We have a capable back up QB who is a better passer than our starting QB. It would behoove the program to get both of them on the field at the same time.

After what we went through with Brewster it is very hard for me to keep being patient, it is wearing more thin with every coaching change! We are the laughing stock of the Big Ten!!
 



I dont care what anyone says or how bad our team is! It is an embarrassment to lose to NDSU no matter what! Gray was completly overwhelmed by a Juco school! How low can our program get?
 

Four games, one sack. That pretty well says it all. As Coach Kill said after the game, "we have a very young team and no upperclassman leadership".

The only leadership I noticed all day was that from Kirkwood. IMHO

I'm afraid we will hear the same ol BS about how he feels our pain and all that crap. Kill hasn't been around for the last several decades trying to be a loyal fan to this team.
 

Tough game for the Gophers. I will say this: The Bison are a damn good team. Well coached, disciplined and have great support. That said, I think they need to pick a quarterback before heading to Ann Arbor next week.

Nobody feels our pain. We are diehard fans of a Big Ten school who continually gets run by teams from the Dakotas that are made up with overlooked players from our own state.

Honeymoon over. I dindt expect much this year but I can't believe its getting worse. NDSU is better than what you'd expect of a school called NDSU but I doubt there is another big ten team that wouldn't carve them up by a few touchdowns.
 

I think it's time for Maturi to go, he completely waisted the new stadium. I can think of no reason why he still has the job.

What difference will that make. We will probably have 40 minutes possession time next week, but Michigan will score 50.

28 points in the 2nd quarter says it all. 13 points directly off turnovers. They had 0 turnovers. Everything about this game was pathetic. From how the Bison fans were louder than the Gophers, to the 3rd down defense, to the stupid penalties. Our fan base and team should be ashamed of themselves.
 

Don't worry, I'm sure our players are getting a pep talk right now.

Golden Gophers: 6 wins

There's where the shame is.
 

The heart of the game award should have went to the Gopher fans who had to watch tonight. How many of these verbal recruits will go other places after this? To get housed like we did is embarrassing. I just don't have a lot of hope in this program after this game tonight.

losing to Florida-Atlantic was embarrassing... NDSU is a good team... USC must be really crappy this season...
