Exactly my point - further - watch any SEC games and you will not get a female announcer. They do this to the Gophers because we are 'Minnesota Nice' and we have been so conditioned not to complain (as seen on this board), they know they can get away with it. It is BS. We have recruits watching these games and this leaves a bad impression on them - like I said - it does not feel like football.

I watch the game and tune out the announcers anyway. Give that a try.

Wish I could - unfortunately - I am tuning in from Sacramento so I don't have local radio coverage.

It has nothing to do with female fans. It's about establishing a track record of perceived opportunity.

If they didn't have their token handful of women calling games it would be pretty easy to argue gender bias in a lawsuit.

Regardless, if the Gophers weren't such a terrible team it wouldn't be an issue to those of us who are annoyed by it.
 






Wow... she really just said Gray got knicked up in the first quarter which allowed Gray to take control of the QB position...

Goodger has some ability. Won't win many foot races, but he seems to find the open area and not mess around after he catches it.

Cooper - heck of a game. 2 times blowing up the option and then getting the QB stop.
 

Do we have any idea how to cover people without pushing them? What the hell?
