What is the score. I have a meeting and cannot watch and too lazy to go to espn.com. Txs
the press: either we need to go all out and force turnovers or back off and sto pthe 3 ball.. we are 2/3rds committed on the press.. good enough for a turnover here and there but they have gotten some layups after breaking it.
so there is no net positive in it other then to wear down the opponent. not good enough.
Bad d accounts for a team shooting 50% not a guy making everything he puts up... Also, we've bern pressing and causing some turnovers, the trade off being layups...I agree our defense is suspect, especially on one guy in particular , but they will not shoot 60% in the second half, math says so.

I define good enough as just enough to make sure we have at least one more point than our opponent when the final horn sounds. Anything more is gravy, anything less is deficient. Remember, there are only two possible outcomes to a basketball game, and if we win, then we got the one we wanted.
Your point? I wasn't defending the press, just stating it has aided in their percentage.the press: either we need to go all out and force turnovers or back off and sto pthe 3 ball.. we are 2/3rds committed on the press.. good enough for a turnover here and there but they have gotten some layups after breaking it.

I see a 2-2-1 press. They have switched between a 1-2-1-1 and a 2-2-1 a couple times now.
I like seeing a little variation.
Every starter contributing except Coleman...again. Clean out your shorts and pick your head back up Joey!
