If Mav is a big part of this team next year, it means Tubby's recruiting is horsecrap. We better have better guards coming in the pipeline or we're in big trouble.

As to the bolded part; Name them. Tell me exactly how many layups they got from the press. I saw at least 3 turnovers, one 10 second call. But I was doing the dishes, and getting my boys to bed among other things, so please elucidate on how bad the press was.

i thought mav looked great out there today.. 3's, runners, and some nice passes.. true, nebraska doesn't pressure the ball too much, but mav was NOT a turnover machine tonight.

Mav has improved a ton each year. Right now he is an average to slightly above average back up PG. By next year he should be a good back up PG for us. That is all we need him to do as long as we have Dre. It's been a long time since we had two sure handed PGs on the roster, next year we will have that. That will be HUGE for us considering we'll have a young and inexperienced front court.
 

Nebraka's defense is not strong.

Regarding Mav next year I anticipate he will play about as much as he does this year. I think that Alvin ellis should get some good minutes as a freshman.
 

Good win tonight. 24 assists and just 6 turnovers. We moved the ball around very well.

Anyone know why the names on the back of Nebraska's uniforms are the same color as the uniforms? Are teams required to have names on the back and this is Miles way of saying that no player is more important than the team?

Won't be the case. 3 star recruits won't come in and give significant minutes behind Andre, Austin, and Joe. Mav is not going to lose minute to Alvin Ellis of all people.

Didn't say that. Alvin will get good minutes replacing welch.
 

@tmbakwe32: Feels good to finally get a win again. Now we just have to build on it. @Will_I_Ams_33 showed why he's a pro tonight. Time for Iowa now!

If Ellis can shoot the 3 and play defense- he'll see plenty of time. There are games where Coleman needs a solid backup. He can be taken out of games if they take away the drive or the fast break.

Good win tonight. Bad Nebraska team but a Big Ten win is always good. Beat Iowa and we are back on track.
