***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA-NEBRASKA GAME THREAD***

If Ellis can shoot the 3 and play defense- he'll see plenty of time. There are games where Coleman needs a solid backup. He can be taken out of games if they take away the drive or the fast break.

Yup

Didn't even see this post, you are quite the tool aren't you ?

right back at you.
i have a right to comment on what i see..
gophers were allowing Nebraska to stay ing the game in the first half... allowing open 3's to the only guy for Nebraska that could hurt them.. i have a right to point that out. for you to tell everyone to shut up for pointing that out makes you the tool.

With practically 0 paint points, they are on fire.... Indiana did that too us too... People heat up and cool off... Think positive, or go make another thread about the same *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# covered in 10 other threads?? Your choice.

'think positive'?... r u tony robbins or something??

dboy, you obviously suffer from a severe case of "get in the last word" syndrome.

Key stats to look at:

Rebounding: Edge to MN 34 -17

Turnovers: Edge to MN 6 - 11

Nebraska had a high field goal % against us, which explains the 65 points, and a phenomenal night from 3 point range shooting 64%. While we won handily, and that's a good thing, Tubby can still use this game as motivation to improve.

Mav will get more playing time next year. He'll be the 6th or 7th man and will play PG with Dre at SG quite frequently (we are already seeing this in the last few games). I think Ellis will get good playing time for a freshman of his caliber, he seems to be the real deal based on his senior year so far. My hope is that he can develop PG skills so that he can be an insurance policy just in case we don't land elite PG in 2014. I'm not expecting him to be Dre, but it would be nice if he could end up being a solid combo guard for us so that we never end up in a situation like we found ourselves when Al Nolen went down.

+1 Tubby will get us a good PG next year. I believe Ellis and Buggs will both step into the rotation on day one next season.

6 TO's..
and only 9 against Wisky....
a far cry from just a few years ago when 20 was the norm..

i know wisky didn't pressure the ball nor press. and nebraska played poor D ( who lets rodney just run to the rim for rebounds? ), but anyway, 15 TO's in the past two games is great.

Yep, I wouldn't be surprised to see Buggs starting by the end of the year. His potential is off the charts. By the end of the season I'd like to see the starters be Dre, Hollins, Coleman, Buggs and EE.
