They throw 1-3-1 and we have a terrible possession. I've seen this movie.
 


Why do Gopher teams struggle so much against zones? I'll never understand it. Every year, every coach, same issues
 


Yup, this is how I expected us to play against the 1-3-1.

Get someone in the high post against the 1-3-1. Ideally Coffey. Can score and pass from there.
 



Much more impressed with NU's offensive sets and ball movement so far.
 


Good thing free throws don't matter.
 

Coffey is so impressive with his back turned. Makes me really wish he could have drained that buzzer beater against MSU.
 



They're 7-7 on FT's. We're 0-4. Sigh.

You can't hold for last shot and give up a bucket. Discipline!
 

Why do we not wait for the last shot there? That's basic coaching.
 


Hopefully Pitino chews into these guys at halftime.
 


make that Taphorn guard, cause all he can do is shoot. Gonna come down to slowing down their guard play in the offensive sets! Gotta get stops!
