This loss kills my interest in the season. It probably won't make much of a difference but I can't wait until every single Tubby player is off this team. Feels like as long as we have his mentally weak recruits, we are going to be prone to collapses like this.
 


Defensive effort in the second half has been brutally bad. Completely flat-footed with their hands down for entire offensive possessions. Even a crappy team like Purdue can score when you don't even bother on that end of the floor.

We'll never take the next step unless we can win road games. We have one of the best home court advantages in the country, but we can't beat terrible teams on the road.

Still 50 seconds left in this one. Can we please pull it out and flip the script?

Yup, 41 points and counting this half for Purdue. Not acceptable.
 

I blame this entire half on the refs. Painter was been pissing and moaning the entire 1st half on foul calls, and he won over the refs. really sad during Big 10 play

I've said all along. Elliot and Mo are what they are, but Pitino would have never recruited either. They don't fit his style.

Season ticket holder will still be there but was hoping we could be a 10-8 or 11-7 team does not look like it these last 6 games really got us ready for this one.
 



All things being just about equal. Purdue is 80%FT vs 70%....whoever believes FT's don't matter, may want to rethink.

Not saying it's going to be a crap season. Just saying we haven't matured enough to win games consistently on the road

If we give this kind of effort, I have no interest in blaming refs. Let's pull this one out at the end and move on.
 



Hammons was in the lane for over 4 seconds that time. He was camped in the lane. How can you defend that? If they aren't going to call it, I would clear everyone out and let him post up down low all day.
 



Fired Tubby for making the 2nd round Pitino at best will make 3 NITS his first three years.

You can usually find other factors besides officiating, but this game is 90% refs. Killed everything we tried to do and just frustrated the players so much the game was changed.

This is a team that's lost 4 of its last 6 and we can't beat them. Expect mediocrity until they prove otherwise. Brutal and embarrassing.
 


Unbelievable.

Can't win on the road. Not going to amount to anything until we can. Have to stop splitting the season with these awful teams.
 

Loss is on the Defense... The refs were terrible also.

And how much does getting foul after foul called on you frustrate you and change the way you play? In a perfect world we'd play through it and not like it impact us, but truth is the refs had a direct impact in this game. Absolutely pathetic.
 

1-3 or 0-4 start to the big ten. When is it time to start questioning what really have in this guy?
 

Personally, I would rather see Konate on the floor ahead of Elliot. This game is far to fast for him.
