It may be true that there are not enough. But I've seen plenty of DII games that were better officiated than the average B1G game.

I would guess that the increased game speed and athleticism in B1G compared to DII makes officiating it a lot harder.

True. But you also get guys like TV Teddy and Eddie Hightower who think they're the stars of the show.

I am not talking about individual games. I am talking about on average.
There are good refs at 7th grade traveling games sometimes.

You get guys like that at the d3 level and high school level as well.
 

Illinois is hitting some ridiculous shots at the end of the clock.
 




Other than the free throws, this is the best Hollins has looked in a long time. Hopefully he can keep his confidence throughout the rest of the season.

There is nothing in Illinois' body language to suggest they have much fight left in them.

And the good thing is, we're a long way from being in the bonus and having to shoot FT's!
