O my goodness. Now we have stupid penalties on top of this crappy performance.
 

Maybe they need to hire a consultant because the running game been awful under this staff and awful under the last staff, outside of QB runs.

Not a single explosive running back has set foot on the field since Gary Russell 8 years ago. I am tired of turning on the TV and seeing players from teams like Northern Iowa and Central Florida showcasing RBs with more vision and speed than anyone in Maroon and Gold.

The root of the problem is line play and schemes, but the talent is also very suspect. I often wondered if my dad would live to see another Rose Bowl, and now have lowered the bar am questioning if there will ever be another 1,000 yard rusher, or 5 win Big Ten season before I tip over for good.

Watching this product and results after all the preseason hype every year is getting very painful.
 


Why don't we give scholarships to smart players? Instead our entire team is full of utter morons.
 


Tough to be effective when NU is getting 6 or 7 yard gains on 1st down.
 














Kirkwood just pushed that defender back about 2 yards before going down.
