*** OFFICIAL GOPHERS/LEATHERNECKS IN-GAME THREAD ***

Hopefully Kill is OK.

Gamewise, please start utilizing the TEs.

I don't want to seem insensitive but... maybe Kill should retire. I mean, watching someone go through a seizure is a scary, traumatic thing. The emotions that go through the players' heads, can't be good for them. It's obvious that stress causes it.

When did JK go down? I sure hope he is okay, and the team cam rally in the second half.

They're used to it and the staff is well prepared on how to react. I really don't think it's as big of a deal as fans and media think.

Good point. Then next time he visits Camp Oz he can entertain the kids with the story of the time he quit.

I am no expert on Kill's condition what so ever, but I can't imagine having seizures is good for Kill either. I don't know how it impacts the kids, but if it is significantly impacting the coach I could see a scenario for retirement. Football isn't worth potentially losing your life over. He has to do what is best for him and his family outside of football as well and everyone wants him to be healthy and well.

Until he's put I to a medically induced coma because he doesn't come out of it.

Honest truth.

Kill said himself that this cant keep happening during games so I dont think its out of line to question how long this can continue.

F$ck you, man. Who the F$ck are you?

Don't get me wrong guys, I love Kill... Just thinking what's best for Kill and the Kids playing for him. Yes, the staff are well prepared... but what if it's the stress of being a football coach, that triggers it? I mean, the first time we saw it, it was hot and the Gophers weren't doing very well also. Today, it's not hot, but the Gophers aren't doing very well. Obviously, a stressful situation.

This has just been a $%^%^ day all around. I hope Kill and Nelson are both OK.

Let's come out hair on fire in the 2nd half and put this away for Kill.

+1. The defense really seemed to step it up after the Leathernecks scoring drive and Leidner seemed to provide some offensive spark. Great pass to Williams; need to use the TEs more consistently in the passing game.

When you start over at Minnesota it's like building a house AND cleaning it. Sad state of affairs for the program at this point. No big plays the bail these guys out today.

I seriously hope Mr. Kill is OK and makes the best decision for his long-term health. This meddling football program isn't worth it....

It is a reasonable point, IMO. Should Kill keep coaching until it potentially puts him in a much more serious condition? At what point does he/the school decide coaching is too big of a risk for his health?

Lots of non football coaches have lots of seizures.

If there is any discussion to be had about Coach Kill's future, it's after the season. Not today, not this week.
