They have carried us for most of the year but have not played well today and have gotten destroyed in the second half today. We need to score and get the onside kick because if Wisconsin touches the ball again it's over as our D can't stop them right now.
 


Screw that. How about getting some pressure on Stave? Any pressure at all will do it.

Sadly. But we held the best RB in the country in check all day by stacking the box and playing man. Live by the sword and all that. Wisconsin did the same thing to us. Stave made the throws. Leidner didn't. Ball game.

That's the biggest thing. All things considered, we have defended against the run pretty well. If we could get some pressure on Stave it would be huge...
 

Secondary hasn't had their best day but no pressure from the D-Line
 

Been giving the grief to Leidner, but honestly, this impending loss is on a team that made mistake after mistake starting late in the second quarterback. Just not good enough.
 



All I ask for the refs is to be consistent. They have had a bad game. Totally missed a hands to the face on the last Badger touchdown.
 


Story of the day: no pressure at all.

Stave's felt very comfortable.

Also, if we don't blow a coverage in the first half and that BS hands to the face isn't called, we may be up 21-3 heading into the break.

Come on this one is not on the refs......We fell apart in the second half all on our own.
 

And we all stand and watch as the dude calls for a fair catch.

Get up in his freaking grill. We can't even capitalize on the gifts they give us.
 

Gophers not quite there yet to win this big of game on the road. Not far away though.
 

Blame refs if it makes you feel better but our total lack of a passing game is the difference in this game hands down. MN just lost to a slightly better team on the road. Not a ton of shame in that

It's really good to know that Wisconsin (most likely) will play OSU with Barrett out. That's just annoying in its own right.
