IMHO, staying at home and being close to family, and playing with a Gophers rising Defense is a good thing. Boye Mafe and Esezi Otomewo is a testament to Gopher Football.

Good kid, great family. But don't lump punter in with the kickers. Punters tend to be a lot of fun, kickers can be the ones that get the bad wrap for being a bit off.

I can see that. In my experience both are usually missing one or two screws

Don’t forget All the directional Michigan schools 2. It used to be us and Western with an occasional Central back in the good ole days.

Ironically the Gophers were very much in recruiting competition with PJ Fleck at that time.
