This thread is the official 2023 Gophers football recruiting thread.
Get on the ball PJ! I expect at least 3 commitments by March!! No excuses!!do we have any commitments yet in this class?![]()
A betting man would jump all over that line!I'd put the over/under on WR's in the class at 5.![]()
Joke right?Sad that P.J. got an extension and hasn’t done anything with this class yet.
Heard there was some junior high kids playing in a field while he visited Georgia. Maybe an offer coming?
Yes. The entire post was a joke. The fact that he offered a 2023 already is crazy to me.Joke right?

He already has a ton of big offers. One more to stack on top of the desk I guess.Howard picks up big offer.
I hope we can get Jaxon. Am I correct in thinking that the class of 2023 is finishing their Sophomore year right now? So he'll be a junior in the fall?

It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter.Probably won't matter, but how did Iowa St (of course!), Nebraska, and Iowa all beat us to the punch in offering Jaxon??

Iowa St always races up here super early and offeres anything with a pulse, around the same time the Dakota schools are doing that. So that I understand. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter.

But to get beat to the punch on a top kid, right in our backyard (inside the 4/694 loop for cripe's sake), is a little embarrassing.
Good points. You have no idea what has transpired prior to the offer. Maybe they’ve spoken with his family 20 times and the offer was made verbally but the kid hadn’t tweeted about it. Maybe these other schools offered with no prior communication, which is worse.
