Yes. The entire post was a joke. The fact that he offered a 2023 already is crazy to me.

I love that P.J. isn’t afraid to recruit against helmet schools. It has paid dividends already.

Yeah, looking at that Graphic in the tweet and his list on 247 he pretty much has his pick of any school in the country. There are a couple place like Alabama and Clemson not listed but outside of them he has the majority of the power 5 schools after him.

Iowa St always races up here super early and offeres anything with a pulse, around the same time the Dakota schools are doing that. So that I understand.

But to get beat to the punch on a top kid, right in our backyard (inside the 4/694 loop for cripe's sake), is a little embarrassing.

You have no idea what has transpired prior to the offer. Maybe they’ve spoken with his family 20 times and the offer was made verbally but the kid hadn’t tweeted about it. Maybe these other schools offered with no prior communication, which is worse.

Has there ever been an instance of a kid not committing because a team wasn’t the first offer? I do not know of any. This is the dumbest argument made on here. If he was getting offers as a 9th grader and the gophers didn’t offer until he was a senior? Sure. But this isn’t that. At all.
