A recruit can only be impressed by a good performance on the field. A poor performance does not have a negative effect. The opposite is true of the other 128 FBS programs when our recruits are attending their games.

It's like you have never read Gopherhole before.....

Every transfer in, who takes a scholarship, left one open at his last school. It's a zero sum game. It doesn't change the number of HS seniors needed every year.

but the lower ranked teams will end up holding the empty bag...the power 5 schools will use the D2, Juco, and lower ranked schools as the minor leagues and the big guys will have rosters of juniors and seniors

That’s why the lower teams should heavily target portal guys to use up that free transfer year and often get more talented players.

I didn’t see anything on his twitter. Fleck and others were just visiting him on the 8th and he retweeted Hoskins on the 9th.

yep, which is why I would love to know where this is coming from before jumping to any conclusions because he seems 100% on board with the U based on the free and easily found info out there.

At this point, PJ is Ferentz' b--ch. 0-5 is embarrassing against a team that everyone on this forum said had less talent than Minnesota. PJ was able to scapegoat the ex OC this season. We'll see what happens next season.

If true, puts what I mentioned into another thread in context.

Under Cioracca we recruited a different type of QB. Zac and Jacob.

Hope he keeps his commitment, but if not, then pls do it fast so maybe Kirk can try to find a new QB or bring back Zac or Jacob

Might actually help. This type of snow can be kind of cool in small doses. Snow doesn’t suck until the cumulative drag of it gets you.

We just already have had that happen before so we know. Extreme Cold I think would hurt us.

Would be great if KG21 would provide some proof of any kind to back up his post. At this point he just tossed a grenade and fled the scene.

I find it hard to believe Knuth is taking visits this late in the process but also don't know why the poster would just make it up. So if there is confirmation of it would be interesting to see it.

Believe it or not there are people from the south that get a kick out of seeing snow and might be excited about it.

Don't think anyone is saying it would have no impact. It certainly might make a warm weather recruit rethink their decision but bottom line is that any player that would be scared off by a snow storm wouldn't have been a good fit here anyway....because you know....it snows in Minnesota and sometimes it comes in bunches like it did yesterday.

So I doubt that appearance of snow is a massive shocker to the vast majority of our recruits.

So bit the bullet and did the free trial. Very vague info but they claim he is there for a last minute official visit.

At the same time you look at places like Twitter and there is no indication there what so ever that he is wavering. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens.
