Slightly off-topic - but didn't know where else to post this.

Just in case anyone is interested:

Bryce Benhart (former Gopher OL recruiting target who signed with Nebraska) won the Class AAA MN State Wrestling Championship at heavyweight (285 lb limit) on Saturday.

Anthony Romphf, a 3-star DB from Michigan was here this weekend and immediately put us in his top 3: https://247sports.com/Player/Anthony-Romphf-46052178/

He holds offers from Michigan, Pitt, Iowa St and a bunch of MAC schools. It sounds like he is/was planning to visit Penn St, Georgia and others with the expectation that he would get offers if he took a visit. He has already planned a return trip for the spring game and will be bringing his best friend and teammate Bryce Austin, a high 3-star DT with offers from Michigan, Michigan St and over a dozen more.

Romphf was absolutely GUSHING about his visit. He said his Dad & Fleck hit it off and talked for hours. He said the staff, players, campus, facilities & city "felt like family".

Fleck isn't for everyone, but when he clicks with people, he really clicks. Sounds like both he & his Dad really clicked with Fleck.

good to hear, love when recruits try to recruit other kids.

Not sure where this fits in in the 2020 recruiting cycle, but I’d have to agree... But in the end don’t give two $hits about the Star tribune and it’s hackers either way.

The Barn was at it’s best tonight. Great night for recruits.
 

Awesome night for recruits. This benefits everyone. When the hockey team and football team do well with recruits from other sports in attendance everyone benefits.
