Yeah I wasn’t sure with all the tweets today. I’m hoping we get Bachmier and a couple really good lineman again
 

IMHO, OC Charles Turner at IMG remains very interested in joining former teammates Dunlap, Faalele, and Zak Anexstad. We may be developing a pipeline with IMG Academy. It is entirely possible we could have signed Verdis Brown had the Gophers have room for him. The OC spot went to Nathan Boe of Lakeville which is nice that the Gophers will take a homer if they accept the offer first.

The same must be true of Carroll and Benhart. It is theirs if they seriously consider staying home and playing for the Gophers. PJF has offers out to other OL and probably won't be a problem if we lose these two. There must be a window that the Gophers need an answer from these two.

Having said that PJ makes it clear that he offers a lot of scholarships first come first serve so obviously there are more out there than spots, but if they are first come first serve, I think it's ok to offer more than you have. If they kid wants it, he can have it, if he waits, can't wait for everyone...

I think 1st come, 1st served also means that they need to visit campus officially or unofficially to commit.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised. I'm pretty sure I've heard the "must visit" story from most other schools, even the blue bloods. I think it is half a test to see how serious they are (if you're not going to visit... probabbly not that into the school) and a chance to check them out personally again.

Man, I would really be shocked if we end up with either Carroll or Benhart. Everything I've heard says that Benhart isn't really interested in the U, and I believe that Carroll is a lock for ND. Just speculation though, based on conversations with people around MN HS football. Who knows!

I dunno, they lost their big time OL coach (we lost ours as well though), and the recent vacating of all those wins could have put some doubt in his (and his family's) mind about going there.

Word is BB wasn't a fan of Warinner at all, and that has given the U's chance an up tick. I have no idea about Carrol.
 


I was looking at Wisky's recruiting hoping to see that Mertz may be looking to jump ship. There was a digital photo of their 2019 recruits saying they will bring them a National Title.
Mertz commented to save the pick for when it happens. Sadly, I don't think he is going to opt out of the Badgers commitment. I just hope they don't end up with Quinn or Benhart.
I hate when we lose in state talent to them.

Cooper Beebe is a rather humongous human being like an overgrown Sumo baby that drank out of gallon baby bottles. I can't find a picture of him standing next to PJF posted in GH.

At 6'3" 318 pounds, he looks surprisingly rather nimble. His older brother Colton being with the team should help in his recruiting. Let's hope we land him rated or unrated.

Interesting, on 247, Goblirsch just made a CB for Max Duggan to go to us and flipped Bachmeier to Bloise St.
 

Is there a list of all the Jr Day Attendees?

Certainly the two MN recruits will be there and have read Max Duggan and Quinn will be there, who else?

Bryce Benhart of Lakeville North is in the Semi-finals at the State Class 3A Wrestling tournament at heavyweight. His next opponent is undefeated Gable Stevenson of Apple Valley.
