Official 2015 Recruiting Updates Thread: Links, Tweets, Videos, Stories, Rumors, etc.

Pooks addition is already changing Iowa for the better. He is from the okoboji area(where I live). And his parents own a bar here. It used to be full of Hawkeye stuff, but now when u walk in the bar the 1st thing you see is a big Gophers banner! So there is now a few more Gopher fans in Iowa now!

Haha How cool is that!!!

What bar? I get down around there about once a year to see a client.

DPO. What do you know about this kid? I assume he's a heavy Nebraska lean? Anyway, just wanted your thoughts (interest, chances, etc.). Nice to see So Dak well represented in Rivals this year with he and Grant Schmidt!

Didn't he go to the IMG Academy down in FL? I thought he was finishing the rest of his HS career down there. I wonder if guys who go to schools like that are still listed by their hometown, or if he really is going to play his senior year at Brookings. Other than hearing about him moving to FL, I don't really know much about him. I have some family who went to SDSU and still live close to Brookings - I'll see if they know anything.

I can't recall who it was, but I saw a tweet the other day from a recruiting analyst who said this upcoming senior class has the most high DI talent he's ever seen coming out of SD. Not saying much, but even moving up to an average of 2-3 per year would be nice.

Much appreciated! I know nothing about him myself. Was just perusing the lists and noticed he was from Brookings. USD grad myself.

The Gophers offered another Canadian today. RB Jonathan Femi-Cole.

Meh...looks like he needs to work out a bit before he's ready.

They compared his combine results at The IDFFL Regional Combine (Mississauga) to Montee Ball.

Femi-Cole results listed first:

40 yard
4.59
4.66
Vertical
34
32
Broad Jump
10 ft
9.10 ft
3-Cone
7.33
6.88
Shuttle
4.5
4.4

Looks like the Gophers are the first to offer. He looks very talented, good job by Kill and company finding this kid. Kid has the look of a big10 running back. He really does look a lot like Montee Ball to me. Nearly identical size and speed.

3-star ATH John Kelly will be visiting unofficially this weekend if the weather allows it. All of his predictions are to MSU but apparently he lived in MN until he was in 6th grade so it's possible we have a shot.

Didn't make it. Needs to reschedule due to weather.

For what it's worth, I clicked through to his twitter from Ryan Burns' and the first thing I noticed was a tweet with a picture of the Minneapolis skyline and the words "I miss it".

Those refs were horrible. There were too many men on the field and they had illegal motion every play.

I hope your being sarcastic! The kids from Canada were they play the Canadian version of the game.

Is that a house in the background or a luxury suite on the 50 yard line!

I've always found it weird that they use yards instead of meters.

That is because football is a game of inches. Saying that it is third down and centimeters to go just doesn't sound right!

Rubio practices shooting from five meters and sometimes six or even seven meters.
