I'd say a commitment from him (tomorrow) is more likely than not.
I agree. Burns also said that the mystery commit will likely announce tonight.

Go Gophers!!

I'm about to throw this one into the bin with Sid's facilities announcement. Burns has to either regret that tweet or he's smiling b/c the subscriptions are probably up.
I seem to recall Burnsie also said there would be a couple commitments at the BBQ last summer that never materialized. Obviously we are dealing with kids and their minds can change at the last minute...but c'mon man!
He said the kid pushed things back until tomorrow.
Edit: also, I had my day wrong. The announcement was supposed to come tonight, not yesterday.
Wait. Tonight? So you edited at 12:25 so that means we have 23 hours and 35 minutes before the announcement?
Or tonight...like it will happen before the sun comes up?
Damn recruiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The announcement was supposed to come yesterday (was still Tuesday in Utah when I posted) but will now supposedly come sometime today (Wednesday). Sorry for the confusion, I'll be back on Central time for the next 2 weeks as I'm catching a 6 a.m. flight to visit my family.
2015 MN OT Prospect Nick Connelly just got offered by the Gophers
I believe Nick Connelly is a DE from Red Wing. http://247sports.com/Player/Nick-Connelly-34582
Could be a quick commit.
can confirm that #Minnesota has landed a commitment from Akron (Ohio) three-star OT Ted Stieber (@TheBigBear75). pic.twitter.com/4jhb29bfMz
That's the mystery commit.
Happy, but don't think it was worth all the hype lol
No Western Michigan offer. Makes one wonder.
Welcome aboard Ted
I do think the whole mystery recruit thing was way over hyped in this case:

Bronson Dovich and the Huff twins just got evaluations by espn. Jacob has a grade of 76 and the #44 S, Julian has a grade of 75 and is the #26 ILB and Bronson has a grade of 74 and is the #88 OT. 79 is the highest grade a 3 star can get and 70 is the lowest a 3 star can get.
Funny how they got their evaluations in just now. In the off season, after committing to a team.
You'd think if they really were evaluating somebody, the numbers would come out right after seeing them play some games or at least after attending a football camp.
I can't really say I trust these evaluations.
Do you realize how many HS football players there are? There are only so many hours in the day. They can't evaluate all of them. Why would they evaluate someone if they don't have a compelling reason to do so? I will never understand why so many of you guys get your panties in a twist over the recruiting services.
