According to sources Nick Rengel has left the program due to the attitude and indirection of the coaching staff.

I'd like to see some confirmation. I'm not liking Brewster's ability to actually keep recruits.
You need to compare this with other D1 programs. I would suspect every program has recruits coming and going. ( I don't like the coach, I don't get any playing time, I miss my friends at home, etc.)
Someone should tell Nick that as he was at practice yesterday!
Every program has players leave but it seems to happen more frequently to Brewster, combined with a lot of players that are unable to get in in the first place. Seems like half the recruits either can't qualify or transfer.
I don't believe this is the case. If you have numbers backing this up, I'd love to see them. I don't think we have any more turnover than any other program, not do we have a statistically greater percentage of non-qualifiers than other BCS teams. I thought there was a post giving these numbers previously.

good, opens up a scholarship.
I think you have Brewster confused with Glen Mason. Masons last three or four classes averaged close to 50% early departure rate. Not acceptable. And we wonder why we have had so little depth lately.
Nick Rengel had no other D1 offers except Minnesota. Perhaps he will find a better attitude, and more playing time, at North Dakota State.
First of all, this is grossly incorrect. He had at least six other DI offers, and probably more.
Second of all, don't be "that guy". You know, the "we never wanted him here in the first place" guy who pretends like he sucks so it doesn't hurt later if he blows up somewhere else.
According to Rivals Rengel had offers from: Minnesota, Buffalo, Central Michigan, NDSU, Northern Illinois, UCF, Western Michigan
Well i stand corrected. He had 5 other D1 offers and from the pick of the litter to boot.
