Jungle Fever 2, Starring Shaka Smart....lol...seriously, what's Spike's connection with VCU...I thought he went to Morehouse down in ATL?

No, it is about Minnesota and therefore the Cohen Brothers will make it one. The title of the movie will be: "Bemidji" while being filmed in Brainerd.

The best part of that update was the part about "trying to get Shaka some movie roles."

I seriously doubt Shaka's ego is that large. He seems waaaaay too humble for that.
 




This just in, I asked a DEEP INSIDER I know and the Shaka deal has fallen through. He demanded a controling stake in Hormell and also demanded Pav named CEO/head Weiner tester.
 


The idea that he's "downright paranoid" about this thread is just so awesome. It's the pinnicale moment of this thread. Nothing can top it.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Shaka hastily reading Spike Lee scripts but he's not just paranoid about this thread, he's downright paranoid. This thread did deliver!!!
 

Part of the charm of this thread is both the people that actually do take it seriously, along with others that have completely broken sarcasm detectors and really think the majority ARE taking it seriously. It is so rich and interesting on so many levels. Throw in the invitation for a fight, Spike Lee, and some photo shopped pics and you've got a classic. I just hope the news on what Shaka is really going to do takes longer to break so we can continue to enjoy the fun of what the 'insider' has provided.

Hey high speed. That was during practice before Spike's speaking event. Spike Lee has never been to a game at the Seigel Center.... That would have been a big deal.

However, he WAS at the Barclays Center for the A10 Tourney. You're ridiculous.
 

Oh man, I'm so lucky I shut down and went for a walk after reading your bit about Shaka being aware of this thread. I would have totally lost it when I got to the Spike Lee bit. I'd be trying to explain to the rest of the office why I'm laughing like muttley over a message board.

With laughter tears in my eyes: "yeah see, there's this gopherhole basketball message board, and this guy from Richmond is giving updates on who our next coach is going to be and... Well just trust me it's really funny. It has photoshopped pictures, animated gigs and everything. And I stayed up really late reading it."

Jack Black as Pav and John Malkovich as the "richmondinsider" - I can see his cesspool of a studio apartment filled with graphs and photos of key insiders and hand written notes everywhere...
 


Dude....can't trust Gilligan with anything the Professor came up with. I still want to know how that damn gorilla got on the island and what he and Gilligan did in the cave.
