NBA Draft - Where/which Gophers will get Drafted?

Wolves should trade Love. The Cavaliers offer (Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters, 1st-round pick) is intriguing. Love is saying the right things, but he doesn't want to be here. Get something for him instead of nothing when he becomes a free agent.

Minnesota may not be his favorite location but cleaveland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN0WqSeCKW8... If we traded love we would be in rebuilding mode once again and thats is not something the orginization wants to do. Maybe if it was the #1 pick for the andrew wiggins sweepstakes..... If Mclemore or Olidipo slips to 4 or 5 we should definitely try to trade williams and our pick to move up. Rubio, Mclemore/olidipo, kirilinko, love and pek wouldn't be a bad starting five

i'm looking forward to watching trevor and rodney in the NBA summer league on NBATV, even if they dont get drafted they can still play in it

I like Burke and McLemore to be the best of this draft class and think Hardaway could be a steal. Hate the Shabazz pick by the Wolves and think Burke will come back to haunt them with Utah in the same division as them.

No doubt I wish they would keep burke don't like shabazz one bit!

I like Burke a lot but the one thing the Pups don't need is more PGs. Muhammed is a risky pick but with as weak as this draft is why not take a shot? Can't be worse than Wes Johnson or Johnny Flynn.

I do agree with you there they have enough point guards. I guess shabazz and dieng are a Pretty good trade for one guy!

Agreed just thinking Burke will hurt them for years especially being in the same decison, but hate the Shabazz pick and would have rather seen them take Hardaway or even Bullock.

I agree, I hate the Shabazz pick. He is about the only player I was hoping the Wolves wouldn't pick before the draft. Just remember the gopher game in where he was an over hyped no show with a bad attitude. I can see where they like the 2 first round picks, but the draft couldn't have gone worse for Wolves. The shooters are getting nabbed just before they pick.

Looks like no TWolves, Goodman just tweeted this:

@GoodmanESPN: Lorenzo Brown headed to Minnesota at No. 52.

Looks like Iverson got drafted though...

@ESPNAndyKatz: Boston has just confirmed it got No. 53 from Indiana for cash and will select Colton Iverson from Colorado State.

Wolves also have the 59th pick (unless that was traded?)

Still have it and hope they use it on Mbakwe. Some early entry guys still out there like Vander Blue, Deshaun Thomas, and others have to be wishing they would have stayed in school right about now.

You can take the Wolves out of the Kahn but you can't take the Kahn out of the Wolves

Mbakwe isn't gonna get drafted. Tubby era in a nutshell.

Well, looks like Trevor won't get drafted. Damn.

Dan Monson at who gives a crap state produced more draft picks than Tubby.

Not up on my NBA draft rules. Did they change the rule that ol' Voshon Lenard used - don't hire an agent and you are allowed to re-enroll in school?

Applies for a couple of weeks in April; that's it. Door closed for those guys to return to school long ago.

Stunned Trevor didn't get drafted, age must have really hurt him. Still think he catches on with someone, he's too elite of a rebounder not to.

Timberwolves take forward Bojan Dubljevic at No. 59

Urgh....

Daily in the Barn @DailyintheBarn just tweeted:

Trevor Mbakwe and Rodney Williams go undrafted. For the ninth straight time, no #Gophers player selected in NBA draft.

Suprised Deshaun Thomas lasted as long as he did, looks like some good players will go undrafted and I think these are guys that can catch on with a team and stick like Pressey, Mbakwe, Leslie, Howell, Blue, and some others as well.

Agreed I think with his rebounding ability and energy he can be a good bench player, I think he can be a little like Farried for Denver.

I am not surprised any gophers got picked this year. Mbakwe will catch on in the D league, but williams won't. He will have to play in China or Iceland. Possibly Panama, maybe even Vanatua.

Saunders did really bad this draft. Should of really got a shooting guard this draft.

I love what my Bucks did, got Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nate Wolters.

What a poor draft. They even take a guy from Spain over Mbakwe...way to represent Flip! Burke is going to be a stud, and that is just another pick that they will regret losing.
