Koi Perich Transfer Portal

Yeah, could be a method to get more dollars from UMN. However, would you want to play for this DC another year?
A lot of times, your position coach is more important than the DC. You spend much more time with your position coach than any of the other coaches.

Am I the only one that feels like this guy was wildly over-rated? I don’t think I can remember another Gopher that just gave away a football game like he did. If he wasn’t on the field against Cal then Minnesota wins that game.

He’s a good, maybe even above-average safety, but Fleck treats him like he’s Winfield Jr., which he is not.

The ‘praise’ to ‘performance’ ratio is totally off with him.
You’re not the only one. I’ve been thinking this all year. Seems to have talent. On-field performance hasn’t been commensurate with all the talk and hype.

Not the same guy he was last year, in 2024 he made plays every game and almost pics or pics regularly. This year there was games when he disappeared, and then of course Cal. Something definitely off, coaches probably know, or have a good idea.

I haven't read all the posts, but as I'm sure someone else has said it, maybe there's an OSU angle here. In that mister All-American Caleb Downs is now off to the NFL and the Buckeyes are in the market for a starting safety and as we all know he was high on their list out of high school. Just warm up those old contacts and reach out saying we have a spot for you and BTW there's also this check for let's say mid six figures.

Those who know and those who lived through it don't need names rehashed. If you want specificity, then you should form an investigative committee.
Or I’ll place an appropriate amount of blame on the man chiefly responsible for raising capitol for the program. Not all, but a lot.

Idiot 'adults' created this nonsense. Binding contracts NOW. I'm a right-wing capitalist and similar-identifying idiots claim I am a commie for opposing this NIL and easy transfer nonsense. You are morons and you have destroyed college football. Congrats, you numbnutted short-sighted fools.

The failure of both students to unionize and the corporate collegiate entities to create a regulatory body has resulted in this. Whether left or right, it's a total system failure.

I saw a basketball coach (can’t remember who) was upset because eligibility was granted to some guy who played somewhere for money. What the heck is the difference anymore?

Valid point. Too many times i was yelling at my TV WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, and there were times that Collins looked alright, but then again, having Anthony Smith on your side is a huge plus. I'll give Collins another year to improve, but I'm just a fan. I really hope Koi is just using this as extorting more money from the U

He has the chance to make more money and win more on a bigger stage at a more successful school.

Take a step back and think it over from all sides... If Koi was your kid, what would you tell him to do??

Blame Ed O'Bannon, he's the asshole who started this whole mess.

I think it’s entirely possible we offered him less money for next year because of his play on the field and he said good bye. This might be a mutual parting where we feel we can make better use of that money elsewhere.
This. Koi is about Koi and has been since high school. He didn’t like the fact that his not the top dawg, with more energy and money put towards Drake, Smith, Taylor, Roy, and similar to Brown, Menz, etc.

I wonder if he ends up somewhere like Texas Tech?

And I'll place blame on a position designed to lose regardless of who populated it, and those who systematically designed it that way.
