Koi Perich Transfer Portal

PJ has handled pretty much everything related to the portal flawlessly other than kind of overall missing on the kids brought in last year. Even with that, his hit ratio has been good, we have not lost many players of note and really there should be nothing to complain about portal related.

Yeah. I would venture to guess that the three I really miss are got back in dollars to other players

S - Oregon


There are other decent players we lost. A couple of Rutgers guys. Etc

But really we have lost 3 guys.

The only one I am really like DAMN was Irving

I would put Daniels in the Damn category as well. We really could have used him this year.

On paper yes. But if you go rewatch 2024 I disagree

Daniel’s had huge upside but he honestly was pretty just average in 2024. With how he played in 2025 he obviously had huge potential

Austin Booker was pretty good for Kansas too. Most Fleck’s best transfers were before the portal. We haven’t had a transfer come in and get drafted since the portal, and we’ve had a few transfer out that went on to be drafted. We’ve definitely filled in gaps nicely through the portal, but we aren’t getting program changers. Most seem to think we generally do well in the portal, and maybe we do to maintain our floor, but we need to do better if we’re to take a step forward.
