IT IS GAMEDAY!!!

Oladipo is a phenomenal basketball player on the defensive end and he's improving on the offensive end. Gophers haven't faced such an all-around player like him yet this year. Gotta give IU credit on playing a near flawless 1st half of basketball.

Indiana is shooting out of their minds, but I'm pretty disappointed in the Gophers effort in that half. Just completely out hustled on every play.

Unbelievable performance by the Hoosiers, much respect to them. Unfortunately, with about 2 minutes left, we could have maybe cut a little bit into the lead to keep this one in reasonable range, but then they proceed to finish it with a 10-3 stretch that's really put it in bad territory.

It's not just the threes, they're just playing with so much passion and fire, I haven't seen a performance like this is so long. Just everything at such a high level for them.

The hockey line change did them in. Tubby needed to get a calming influence out there when they scored the first 6 in that run, instead he calls time out and sends the same scared bunch out there. Too me, they look so much more tentative than they did in Illinois. Almost like they're scared to lose. Hey, I'll be the first to admit this is a huge game. But, to go 1-1 on the road in the B1G is ok. Tough conference to win on the road and Indiana is as tough as there is to play. See how they come out and execute in the second. Make the game respectable and move on to the next one.

There are losses and then there are soul killing losses. If this gets uglier, the whole team might need to see a shrink to get its confidence back. That was simply amazing. Dominated in everyway possible. Reminded me of the loss to Virginia in th ACC/BT challenge after just beating UNC and WV. The team never recovered mentally.

THE SKY IS FALLING EVERYONE TAKE COVER

w/e, no one in the country would beat Indiana when they are playing like this, oh well, BRING ON MICHIGAN!

and on a related note...I am going back to bed

We are making Indiana look better. Michigan wouldn't be getting dismantled like this.

Ready for the fans to jump off the bandwagon and say another season is lost?

If Michigan were playing at Indiana today, I would beg to differ with you. Today, IU is playing like a top 5 team, or better.

The classic line that people use to cover up embarrassing losses. Nobody is jumping off the cliff. But there is no arguing that we didn't show up today.

12 turn overs. Poor defense. Indiana shoots 64% from 3 point line. Recipe for a loss. They are beating us at our own game with offensive rebounding.

Where are the senior leaders? Williams and Mbakwe need to step up.

It's the darn turn overs... this is sad for a top 10 team. Stop turning the ball over!

Ya know, if we continue to get dismantled today by a really, really good Indiana team, our Gophers will respond with a 180 degree turn for Michigan. Mark my words. It is not what happens as a result of a game, it is how we respond to what happens that is important.

Personally, I think we overlooked Indiana as we are looking ahead to Michigan. Ya right. :banghead:

I've never seen a team play at the level that Indiana is playing at right now. Nothing going the Gophers' way, not shots, not loose balls, not even a decent shar of the 50/50 (or even better) calls. That said, will this performance finally put a nail in the coffin of the "line change" sub system for Tubby? Further, can the lowest-end players (e.g., Ingram and others) on this team not see the court in big games? I'd love to see one or two subs in there at a time...

Finally, every player on the team is struggling today. We haven't won a single matchup, Dre's 14 point (but with 4 or 5 turnovers) included.

Indiana can't possibly maintain its shooting percentage. It's not feasible to keep that up. As they level off and if the Gophers regroup for a run, they at least have a chance to make things respectable.

Applaud you for not committing the sin of saying 360 degree turn, haha

NOBODY in college ball would beat Indiana today; probably few teams would stay within 15 of them.

Wrong. Do you forget OSU and their 70% FG performance against the Gophers from a few years back? When you're on, you're on, and sometimes you don't lose it. The only hope for the Gophers to make this respectable is if Indiana lets off the gas a bit - which is actually fairly likely considering teh situation.

Let's put it this way. Penn State was terrible against IU the other day, much much worse than the gophers today, and yet IU didn't thrash them like this. They're just having an amazing day, likely will never have another one like it.

Ahhhhh, you are astute, furry. Kind of like a pilot heading into a storm and says to the copilot, "Let's do a 360 and get the hell out of here."

This game feels a lot like the Duke game where a team is just shooting lights out and there really isn't much you can do to stop it. Hopefully Indiana will go cold in the 2nd half and we can make a run and get back into this game.

For some odd reason, when I see Oladipo, I'm reminded of Michael Jordan. Not saying he's that good, just something about him reminds me of Jordan. Weird.

The only thing that can get us back into this game is Andre or Austin going crazy in the 2nd half. One of them will have to go nuts to make this a game.

It feels more like the game we beat Indy by 50.........except the teams are reversed.

Definitely. I feel like we haven't been playing our best game either, but Indiana shooting a ridiculous 66% from the field sure isn't helping.

First play of the 2nd half, missed Indiana 3 pointer and Joe Coleman runs the floor for a transition and 1 conversion.
