Let's put it this way. Penn State was terrible against IU the other day, much much worse than the gophers today, and yet IU didn't thrash them like this. They're just having an amazing day, likely will never have another one like it.

Just checked in and caught the score...first thing I noticed was the shooting percentage. Pretty tough to deal with if that is maintained. It does look like they are coming back though.

Makes you wonder why the gophers didn't use it in the first half...the athleticism that Tubby recruits is best for that type of full court pressure game.
 

Kinda glad the Gophers have the opening B1G schedule the way they do...prove their metal and what is needed right off the bat.

Hard to set up any presses when a team shoots that well and doesn't turn it over.
 



Need to play an almost perfect half to come back and win. Good start so far.
 

We've picked a bad day to play average.

Need a gutty performance to pull this one out, or to even keep it close.

Thus far in the second half IU has cooled down (as one would expect no one shoots 80% for 40 minutes) The refs are quite bad, but at least they are letting them play. We have not gotten a close call to go our way yet.

Tubby has to find a way to get our starters short breathers without completely killing our offensive production.

Tought to do, but its not impossible.

Funny, I was just going to say Ted Valentine hasn't been noticed today... which is a good thing.
 






We know the gophers can play better. Gotta hope the players feel that way too.
