Gotta D up better second half.

You're not going to beat many teams by giving up over 50 a half.
 


Ugly, ugly half. Too many turnovers and Indiana is shooting the lights out.
 



The Gophers are playing poorly, but Indiana is also on another level today. They can't miss right now and are shutting us down on the other end. The wheels aren't just off the bus. The engine and all valuable parts have been stripped as well.
 





Dreadful performance. IU is shooting at an incredible pace but the sloppy passing and lazy defense is inexcusable.

We will react well to this. If we lose we lose but these guys will use this as motivation in both the second half and for the rest of the season. Just got whipped, out shot, out hustled and outplayed. Let's have a good second half, come back home and beat Michigan. All will be well.
 

Andre is showing his Sophomore jitters in this one. He is improving but still has a ways to go in regards to top level teams.

Well. Let's see how the second half goes. That was rough.
 

We need to regroup at halftime. Remind the players to focus on winning individual possessions rather than trying to get back into the game all at once. The kids were pressing in the last 5 minutes as they lost focus on execution for each and every possession. In the last 5 minutes we lost focus on defense and started to play individually on offense. Let's see what Tubby can do during the halftime break.

Gophers - ZERO FT attempts in the first half. Indiana only had 4 attempts.
 

running back on D too deep to the goal leaving perimeter players to get wide open 3's. ugh
 

w/e, no one in the country would beat Indiana when they are playing like this, oh well, BRING ON MICHIGAN!

ZERO FT attempts. That tells you all you need to know. We have to get the ball inside instead of passing around the perimeter. This looks like last year's offense.
 


Terrible coaching in the first half. Bench goes in, everyone watching the game knows things are about to go downhill, apparently tubby does not. Tubby also has to get his guys to stay on their guys and communicate on defense, not just crash anytime someone gets past the three point line. Without Andre, this game is 30+ for IU
 

Everyone here realizes they have 6 points more than us from the three point line? The other 17 points of the deficit is why we're losing. Not the three point line.
 

I know Indiana is hitting everything but the defense was absolutely pathetic in the first half. Getting out hustled all over the floor.
 

Yep Steve smith said this one is on tubby no reason to sub out all five starters. Not sure it would matter today. IU came out with intensity we didn't.
 

There are losses and then there are soul killing losses. If this gets uglier, the whole team might need to see a shrink to get its confidence back. That was simply amazing. Dominated in everyway possible. Reminded me of the loss to Virginia in th ACC/BT challenge after just beating UNC and WV. The team never recovered mentally.
